  1. PPN9 There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public (or member and their guests) notices pointing out the needs of local residents and the need to leave the premises and the area quietly. (Note: this may also include reference to vehicles.) PPN16 All fixed plant and equipment at the premises that produce significant levels of noise are fitted with appropriate means of noise suppression and are restricted in their use so as to minimise disturbance to any neighbouring noise sensitive premises. PPN18 There shall be no emission from the premises of any odour which is likely to cause a nuisance to nearby premises. PPN20 There shall be provided at the premises suitable and sufficient containers for the storage and disposal of waste foods and other refuse from the premises. Those containers shall be constructed and maintained so as to prevent access, except by staff. PPN21 Where the premises provide food to the public for consumption on or off the premises they shall provide at or near the point of sale, sufficient receptacles to enable the disposal of waste food, food containers, wrapping etc. PPN22 Where the premises provide food for consumption off the premises, the public area immediately surrounding the premises shall be cleared of waste food, food containers, wrapping etc at the end of trading on each day. Such refuse shall be placed in a container designed for the storage and disposal of refuse and waste foods which shall be constructed and maintained so as to prevent access, except by staff. PPN23 No refuse shall be disposed of from the premises into a receptacle where such disposal is likely to cause a disturbance to residents in the area of the premises at any time between 8.00 pm and 8.00 am on any day except Sunday when no such disposal shall take place before 10.00 am.   2. Staff are constantly on the alert for any occurrences of criminal activity.
  3. Anyone apparently over inebriated or obviously under the influence of illegal substances will not be allowed on the premises.
  4. Customers are encouraged to form orderly queues and to be respectful to others present.
  5. The licence holder is aware of the requirements of the Fire and Health and Safety Regulations and strictly adhere to same.
  6. Fire Equipment is in-situ as is a first aid kit.
  7. There is no risk to anyone from cooking appliances as they are located in a separate room.
  8. The licence holder is aware of the dangers of overcrowding and do not allow it.
  9. Disorderly behaviour is discouraged as is congregating outside the premises.
  10. Customers are encouraged to dispose of any litter in an appropriate manner.
  11. All staff check the outside areas for litter.
  12. Young children are discouraged from attending the premises unless accompanied by a mature person.
  13. Tamper proof CCTV system installed at the premises in liaison with and to the satisfaction of Cumbria Police Licensing and community safety officers and shall be used to record during all hours that a licensable activity takes place on the premises.
  14. CCTV shall be maintained in good working order in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
  15. Images recorded by the CCTV system shall be retained in undedited for a period of no less than 28 days.
  16. The images will be provided to the relevant authority upon reasonable request or otherwise within 7 days.
  17. An incident book on site shall be maintained to record matters of concern, refusals and ejections. The incident book will be presented to the relevant authority upon reasonable request.
