  1. The Premises is a florist shop and is situated on the hight street. The shop has been established since 1935. The business is a member of interflora and as a member the business if licensed can sell alcohol as standa lone items or add on gift with flowers.
  2. As a florist shop in a very competitive market we need to be able to supply alcohol with flowers or as a stand alone product on an off premises basis. The alcohol will be stocked in a locked cupboard in the main shop with few bottles out for display purposes.
  3. General:
  4. I have passed the training course and been issued with a personal licence. I will ensure all staff are trained to understand and impliment the licensing objectives.
  5. The Prevention of crime and disorder:
  6. The shop is fitted with an alarm system and security lights are fitted outside the back of the shop.
  7. Public Safety:
  8. All members of staff will be trained to obey health and safety as well as the licensing laws.
  9. The prevention of public nuisance:
  10. As a florist shop no alcohol will be consumed on the premises. We also have security lights and an alarm system. Although alcohol wil be sold as a stand alone gift it will mainly be sold as an add on the flowers ordered for delivery.
  11. The Protection of children from harm:
  12. Alcohol will not be sold to children or under 18 years old. All delivery drivers will be instructed to not allow children under 18 to accept delivery of alcohol. All staff will abide by the relevant legislation and laws.
