  1. All staff involved in the sale or supply of alcohol will receive licensing training that includes appropriate precautions to prevent the sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 18, the signs and symptoms of drunkenness, the refusal of service due to intoxication and age verification policy.
  2. Records will be kept of such training which must be signed and dated by the member of staff who has received that training.
  3. All staff will receive refresher training every six months as a minimum and records are to be kept of this refresher training.
  4. These records shall be made available to Police and/or Local Authority upon request and shall be kept for at least one year.
  5. CCTV will be installed at the premises.
  6. Cameras will be sited to observe the entrance and exit doors both inside and outside, the main bar, the seating area and any external area.
  7. The CCTV system will be operating at all times whilst the premises are open for licensable activity.
  8. All equipment will have a constant and accurate time and date generation.
  9. Digital systems will provide good quality playback images that give free flowing playback footage.
  10. Recorded footage will be retained for a minimum of 31 days and will be made available to police immediately on request when investigating allegations of offences or criminal activity.
  11. A trained member of staff who is able to operate the system and download images will be on duty during operating hours.
  12. Any images recovered must be playable on a windows based computer system without the need for technical enhancement.
  13. Refusal / Incident log An incident book or computer log for refusals of service, ID checks and incidents will be maintained by staff at the premises.
  14. These records shall be retained for a minimum of 1 year and be made available to the Police and other responsible authorities upon request.
  15. Authorisation for alcohol sale / supply.
  16. A written record will be retained at the bar area to list the staff that have been authorised to sell or supply alcohol following their training.
  17. This shall be made available to the Police upon request.
  18. Pubwatch The premises licence holder will ensure that the premise will be an active member of any local Pubwatch that is in existence and recognised by the local Police.
  19. A representative will attend all Pubwatch member meetings.
  20. Risk Assessment The premises licence holder will ensure that all public and private events or functions are subject to a written Risk Assessment that will include the date, times and nature of the event, the assessment of risk and the measures put in place to address any identified risks.
  21. All Risk Assessments will be documented and retained for a minimum of 1 year and shall be made available for inspection by Police and Council officials upon request.
  22. Security staff The premises licence holder will ensure that a minimum of two (2) Security Industry Authority (SIA) registered Security staff will be on duty at the premises from 20:00 hours to close on any day that we plan to open beyond 00:00 (such as New Year's Eve).
  23. In addition, the duty manager will make a dynamic risk assessment of the premises circumstances at the time based on customers or the type of function at the venue and the number of SIA Door Supervisors will be increased where circumstances dictate.
  24. Alcohol consumption The premises licence holder will ensure that when alcohol is purchased as part of the ON licence, it must be consumed within the boundaries of the premises including the beer garden unless it is otherwise specified.
  25. Opening Hours, Signage & Zoning We will operate reduced opening hours.
  26. Prominent and clear notices will be displayed at the exit to remind customers to leave quietly and to respect the neighbours.
  27. Clear guidelines and zoning for outdoor seating areas and smoking areas to minimize disruption to the surrounding area will be established.
  28. Litter bins and ashtray receptacles will be provided.
  29. ID - Challenge 25 The premises licence holder will ensure that a system is in place to ensure that every individual who appears to be under 25 years of age seeking to purchase or be supplied with alcohol at or from the premises, shall produce acceptable means of identification and age confirmation.
  30. Acceptable identification shall be a passport, photo driving licence or PASS accredited photo ID.
  31. If the person seeking alcohol is unable to produce acceptable means of identification, no sale or supply of alcohol will be made for that person.
  32. All children must be accompanied by an adult and will not be permitted to sit at the bar.
  33. The premises will not allow any under 18's to enter after 19:00 unless authorised by the DPS.
