Licence conditions (11)
  1. General Conditions Crime and Disorder
  2. The Licensee will provide/install and maintain CCTV equipment at the premises in full working order. All recordings will be retained for at least 28 days and will be made available to an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority or Police on demand.
  3. The Licensee will ensure that the premises is adequately supervised at all times it is open to the general public: either personally or by a manager or fully trained member(s) of staff. Public Safety
  4. The Licensee will operate strict Health and Safety policies/procedures, including risk assessments, RIDDOR procedures and staff training.
  5. The car park will be illuminated at night. Prevention of Public Nuisance
  6. All external areas shall not be used after 23:30hrs.
  7. Any outdoor music or speech (un-amplified) shall be restricted by way of the following: a) Any outdoor music or speech shall not take place after 23:00 hours. b) Outdoor entertainment shall only take place if strictly controlled such that noise disturbance is not caused to nearby residential properties. c) Any outdoor music or speech shall only take place on a maximum of 25 occasions per year. d) Any outdoor music or speech shall only take place in the red hatched area shown on the plan attached to the licence (Reference 'Orwell Park School outdoor premises licence area 200308.doc').
  8. The volume of the amplification system for any description of musical entertainment shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties.
  9. A responsible person shall monitor the music levels outside the building, and implement any changes to reduce the noise levels in accordance with any request by an authorised officer of the Council immediately and ensure that volume is maintained at the reduced levels.
  10. After 23:30hrs all external doors and windows must be kept closed, other than for access and egress when amplified music and amplified speech is taking place.
  11. Any outdoor amplified music shall be further restricted by way of the following: a) Outdoor amplified music shall only take place on a maximum of 3 occasions per calendar year. b) The Environmental Protection team shall be notified 14 days in advance of any outdoor amplified music event. c) The LAeq of the music noise, known as the Music Noise Level (MNL) arising from the performance of outdoor amplified music shall not exceed 65dB(A) over a 15 minute period when measured at 1 metre from the façade of any nearby noise sensitive premises. d) The Environmental Protection team shall be notified 10 days in advance of the date and time of sound tests that may be conducted for particular outdoor amplified music events.
