General:
OV's is a well managed club, mindful of all the licensing objectives as a primary concern when alcohol is served.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder;
CCTV is installed and operated recordings are kept for thirty days are available to the police and licensing authority. If necessary SIA door supervision will be employed.
Public Safety:
Fire Alarms electrical and Gas systems are tested regularly. Toughened glass is used, however for outside functions the use of plastic or polycarbonate will be considered.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance:
Premises are a considerable distance from the nearest house. Doors and windows are kept closed when regulated entertainment is taking place.
The Protection of Children from Harm;
Club premises are vetted and children accompanied by a responsible adult. Challenge 21 policy is in place
Conditions agreed with the police:
1. There will be no Birthday Parties or functions for persons between the ages of 18 to 21 years unless agreement is made with the local Police Licensing department.
2. The Premises Licence Holder or member of staff shall ensure that identification is provided by every person buying alcohol that is under 21 years of age. The only acceptable forms of identification are a valid Passport or photo card-driving licence. No photocopies will be accepted.
3. The premises will display clear and visible signage at all times reminding customers that it is an offence to purchase alcohol for persons less than 18 years of age or persons who are drunk.
4. When a function / party is held at the premises there will be a senior representative from the Club present at all times or a Personal Licence holder.
5. When the venue is `hired out¿ for a function / party the Designated Premises Supervisor will authorise the hirer whose details* will be recorded and held at the Premises. This person will be ideally over the age of 25 or have the express permission of the Designated Premises Supervisor / Club Secretary and will be at the Premises at all times. *Full name, date of birth, home address and contact telephone number.
