Anyone who appears to be under the age of 21 years shall be requested to provide identification. Only photographic identification shall be accepted such as passport, driving licence or citizen cards with holograms. If an individual is unable to provide identification then no sale shall be made.
Clear notices shall be prominently displayed at the premises confirming the challenge 21 policy and requirement for identification to be provided with respect to the sale of alcohol.
Where the sale of alcohol is a licensed activity no person under the age of 18 shall be admitted to, or allowed to remain on the premises between 20.00 hrs and the terminal hour stated on the current licence, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian or partaking of a table meal. st
With effect from 1 May 2014 the licence holder shall maintain a comprehensive digital colour CCTV system at the premises that ensures all public areas of the licensed premises are monitored, including all public entry and exit points and the immediate vicinity of the premises outside., and which shall continually record whilst the premises are open to the public. Video recordings shall be maintained for a period of 31 days, be of evidential quality and shall be made available to an authorised officer or police officer together with facilities for viewing. Recordings shall be made available on 24 hours notice (subject to the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998).
DJ, or disco events shall be limited to 12 events per calendar year. The Surrey Police area licensing department shall be notified in writing a minimum of 10 working days prior to each event taking place.
Clear notices shall be prominently displayed at the premises asking patrons to leave quietly.
A minimum of two S.I.A. registered doormen shall be on duty any night where there is a DJ or, disco event. The door staff shall be employed from 20.00hrs, until a minimum of 30 minutes after the terminal hour stated on the current licence. At the end of the session the door staff shall be present outside the premises to ensure that patrons disperse in a quiet and orderly manner.
All doormen shall wear fluorescent jackets or tabards correctly both inside and outside the premises.
On evenings when door staff are employed customers shall be routinely searched for drugs and weapons. Any person found in the possession of such shall be refused entry.
All incidents involving door staff shall be recorded in a suitable log, including all refused entries. The log shall be made available for inspection on request to the police and local authority officers.
Toilets shall be checked regularly during hours of trade. On events when a DJ/Disco event is held they will be checked every ½ hour. A log will be kept of every check.

The Designated Premises Supervisor shall provide training to all staff authorised to sell alcohol and refresher training every 6 months thereafter regarding licensing law with respect to the sale of alcohol and recognised identification documents. A record shall be kept of such training and shall be made available on demand to police and local authority officers.
