Licence conditions (14)

As a newly refurbished building it has been designed to meet up-to-date requirements for public safety including children.
The Community Centre will be run with the aim of providing social facilities, education and training which we hope will lessen the incidence of crime and disorder and we will work with the police to meet these aims.
Procedures will be introduced in the management of the Centre by which volunteers and future workers can take all steps possible to prevent public nuisance.
Those volunteering/working with young children will hold the necessary qualifications.
We will hold fire drills and training.
There shall be displayed at the entrance to the premises a sign, which is clearly visible to members of the public visiting the premises, containing details of the trading hours under the Premises License, the licensable activities permitted on the premises and also any maximum occupancy level set for the premises.
Where the Premises License has restrictions relating to the admission of children (i.e. the gym), a sign detailing those restrictions shall be displayed at the entrance to the premises where it is clearly visible to members of the public visiting those premises.
When disabled persons are present on the premises there shall be in place arrangements for their safe evacuation in the case of an emergency or other reason. Details of those arrangements shall be recorded in writing and all staff employed/volunteering on the premises shall be aware of those arrangements.
Firefighting equipment shall be examined regularly by the manufacturer or other competent person and maintained and tested in accordance with BS5306 Part 3, 2000.
The noise level from the premises whilst being used for public entertainment purposes shall not cause nuisance to noise sensitive dwellings in the vicinity.
There shall be no emission from the premises of any offensive smells which are likely to cause nuisance.
Early Years: Staff or volunteers must meet government requirements in relation to ratio and qualifications in order to protect these children from harm/injury.
Youth Clubs: Staff or volunteers must meet government requirements in relation to ratio and qualifications in order to protect these children from harm/injury.
No-one under the age of 18 shall be allowed access to the weight training/gym room.
