Licence conditions (2)

Authorised sale of: Intoxicating liquor of all descriptions. The following non standard timings shall be applicable: 1) With 7 days notice and agreement with Merseyside Police, on St. David's Day, St. Patrick's Day, St. George's Day and St. Andrew's Day, the finishing times shall be extended by 1 hour; 2) For statutory bank holiday weekend periods (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday) and for the Thursday before Good Friday and for Christmas Eve, the finishing times shall be extended by 1 hour; 3) With 7 days notice and agreement with Merseyside Police, on occasions of local, national or international significance, or for charitable events, the finishing times shall be extended by one hour. In respect of the non standard and non specific timings there shall be no more than 12 such applications per year (excluding TENs), an operating plan covering the additional measures to be taken to manage crime and disorder on these occasions shall be completed and submitted to Merseyside Police and the Local Authority. In respect of the above, a minimum of ten days Notice shall be given to Merseyside Police and the Local Authority, with Merseyside Police reserving the right to veto any of these applications.
CCTV shall be provided in the form of a recordable system capable of providing pictures of evidential quality and in all lighting conditions particularly facial recognition. Cameras shall encompass all ingress and egress to the premises and all areas where the sale/supply of alcohol occurs. Equipment shall be maintained in good working order and correctly time and date stamped. Recordings shall be kept in date order, numbered sequentially and kept for a period of thirty-one days and handed to the Police on request. The recording equipment and tapes/discs shall be kept in a secured environment under the control of the Premises Licence Holder or other responsible named individual. A zero tolerence towards illegal drugs shall be enforced at all times. Should a Disc Jockey be utilised on any night then he/she shall ask customers to leave in a quiet manner. A sign shall be located at the exit(s) requesting that customers leaving the premises do so quietly and with consideration to neighbours. All instances of crime and disorder shall be reported to Merseyside Police and shall be kept in an incident log book. When entertainment is being offered within the premises additional patrols shall take place by members of staff, internally and externally, to limit any noise pollution. Should the premises stay open for an extended period between the cessation of the supply of alcohol and the closure of the premises, soft drinks and non-alcoholic refreshment shall be available. When children are allowed on the premises, any entertainment offered within the premises shall be of a suitable nature. Children shall be required to be supervised by the accompanying adult at all times. There shall be a recognized Proof of Age Policy enforced at the premises. Soft drinks and non-alcoholic drinks shall be available at all times. Ill-fitting fire doors shall be made good and maintained in a good condition.
