  1. CCTV will be installed and maintained in a fully operational state all the time the premises is open to the public.
  2. Images will be retained for a minimum of 31 days and will be given to any Police Officer, Licensing Officer of the local Authority or other Authorised person upon request.
  3. Staff will be trained in Licensing Law and will also be subject to ongoing refresher training. Any training provided will be logged and these training logs will be provided to any Police Officer, Licensing Officer of the Local Authority or other Authorised Person.
  4. A Challenge 25 policy will be in place where any person to is attempting to purchase alcohol and who appears to be under the age of 25 will be asked to provide photographic ID to prove their age.
  5. Signage will be displayed in store to instruct customers that a Challenge 25 policy is in place.
  6. Till prompts will appear at the point of sale to remind staff to ask for ID when selling alcohol.
  7. A refusals book will be used where any sale of alcohol that is refused will be logged. The refusals book will show the following:-
  8. The time and date of refusal
  9. The item refused
  10. The name or description of the person refused
  11. The reason for refusal
  12. The refusals book will be signed off by a member of management on a regular basis and will be presented for inspection upon request from any Police Officer, Licensing Officer of the Local Authority or any other Authorised person.
  13. Spirits and high value alcohol will be stored behind the counter.
  14. A member of management will be on site at all times the premises is open to the public.
  15. Consumption of alcohol will not take place on the premises.
