Licence conditions (22)
  1. All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when regulated entertainment is being provided except in the event of an emergency.
  2. The licence holder or his representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents. A written record shall be made of those assessments in a log book kept for that purpose and shall include the time and date of the checks, the person making them and the results including any remedial action.
  3. There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public (or member and their guests) notices pointing out the needs of local residents and the need to leave the premises and the area quietly. (Note: this may also include reference to vehicles.)
  4. A noise management plan has been devised and is in operation at the premises.
  5. Each socket outlet circuit or individual socket outlets used for public entertainment shall be protected by an integral residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA (0.03 amps). Every such circuit and residual current device shall be inspected and tested at intervals specified by a competent person. A satisfactory and valid inspection report shall be available on site for inspection by an authorised officer of the authority.
  6. We will inform the duty PCSO of any events taking place on site covered under this licence.
  7. We will also provide extra staffing to man these events, this will minimise public safety incidents.
  8. We will not exceed the times for all events on site.
  9. All staff will be DBS checked prior to volunteering at any events.
  10. All staff will have a current DBS check that will be around any children and prior to volunteering at events.
  11. To reduce crime and disorder on site we propose to inform the relevant emergency services of any events taking place.
  12. We will make sure that the correct number of staff are on site to manage the events safely.
  13. We will hold ticketed events where possible to stop any unauthorised persons.
  14. We will maintain all lighting and internal equipment with current regulations. All outside lighting will be maintained and checked on a regular basis.
  15. We will inform all audience of nearest emergency exits before any event.
  16. We annually carry out a fire risk assessment that is held onsite.
  17. A 5 year electrical test and yearly PAT testing of all equipment is carried out periodically.
  18. We will be mindful of the local community and residents ensuring that any external noise will be kept to the minimum.
  19. Audiences will leave promptly, as no after entertainment/refreshments will be made available.
  20. We will ensure that the correct adult-child ratio is used during events.
  21. Staff will be made aware of being vigilant during any event to keep any children away from harm.
  22. The centre follows safeguarding policies.
