Licence conditions (2)

A strict policy will be taken with regard to underage drinking and a strict photo ID policy will be put in place.2. Proper training has been given to all staff to ensure that drunken and anti-social guests are appropriately dealt with.3. CCTV cameras have been installed at the premises in order to deter criminal activity.4. Door Supervision will be in place during specified times5. It is intended to restrict the number of persons allowed to be at the premises to 200 which is believed after proper consideration to be a safe and appropriate number.7. The question of fire security has been considered and all recommendations have been carried out.8. Polite signs have or will be placed at all exits from the premises encourgaing customers to be quiet on leaving the premises and area and to repsect the rights of the people living nearby and on the route home. The same encouragement is given to the bar and door staff at the end of the evening.9. The question of sound insulation, air conditioning and lighting has been considered and due consideration has been given to publications by the British Beer and Pub Associations.10. The use of strict photo ID policy for anyone appearing to be under the age of 18 years is to be strictly followed.11. All young children will be accompanied by an adult at all times.12. The Challenge 21 Policy will be adopted and staff will demand to see only a passport, photo driving licence or pass accredited card as proof of age.,.
Conditions 1 - 7 agreed with Environmental Control on 24 November 2010:1. All external doors/windows must be kept closed after 23.00, other than for access and egress, in all rooms when events involving amplified sound (other than ambient background sound) are taking place.2. A noise limiting device shall be installed, fitted and maintained in such a manner as to control all sources of amplified music at the premises. The noise limiting device shall be connected to all permanent music and public address equipment and all available mains power sockets within the area of the stage/music equipment. Once set such a device should be inaccessible to the licensee or staff.(Note to the Applicant:The use of noise limiters does not necessarily solve or prevent noise nuisance. To be wholly effective they must be used in conjunction with other measures and structural attenuation, and need regular calibration / checking by the owner or operator. Maintenance records must be kept for 12 months.)3. Amplified sound from the licensed premises shall not be detrimental to the amenity of any noise sensitive premises.4. No live or amplified music to be played in the open air, including temporary structures such as marquees and tents, other than for events with the prior approval of the licensing authority.5. No music or speech shall be relayed via external speakers other than for events with the prior approval of the licensing authority.6. Prominent and clear notices will be displayed at all exits requesting the public to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.7. Audible intruder alarms to be fitted with 20 minute cut off device and key-holder details to be provided to the Local Authority.,.
