Licence conditions (14)
  1. General Conditions Permitted hours: On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31 December). Crime and Disorder
  2. The Licensee shall implement a ‘Strict No Drugs’ Policy.
  3. In the event that a DJ is used for regulated entertainment involving recorded music the Licensee will ensure that a public announcement is made requesting that customers leave the premises quietly.
  4. A digital CCTV system shall be installed at the premises and maintained in good working order and used at all times when the premises are open for licensable activities. Any CCTV footage shall be kept for at least 28 days and shall be available to the Licensing Authority or Police on request.
  5. The premises licence holder will report all instances of crime and disorder to the Suffolk Constabulary and a record of the incident will entered in an incident log which is to be kept on the premises at all times.   6. The Licensee will ensure that the activities of patrons leaving the premises are monitored and, if appropriate, remind them of their public responsibilities.
  7. All windows and doors to the premises shall be kept closed when regulated entertainment is taking place, other than for access and egress.
  8. The volume of the amplification system for any description of regulated entertainment shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties.
  9. When regulated entertainment is taking place,a responsible person shall monitor the music levels outside the building. Such a person shall have the necessary authority over the running of the music to require adjustment of the volume of the amplification system if found necessary or if so requested by an authorised officer of the Council. Any such request shall be carried out immediately and the volume shall be maintained at the reduced level.
  10. The movement of bottles to and from receptacles outside the premises by members of staff shall not take place between the hours of 23:00 and 07:00hrs. Protection of children from harm
  11. The Licensee will ensure that only suitable entertainment is provided when children are on the premises.
  12. The Licensee will ensure that children are accompanied at all times by an adult while they are on the premises.
  13. The Licensee will ensure that non-alcoholic drinks are available at all times on the premises.
  14. All members of staff at the premises will seek ‘credible’ photographic proof of age evidence from any person who appears to be under the age of 18 and who is seeking to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.
