Licence conditions (11)
  1. CONDITIONS incorporating Embedded conditions/restrictions and entitlements under The Licensing Act 1964 1.1 The hours for the sale or supply of alcohol shall be 10.00 hrs to 24.00 hrs every day of the week. Save on New Year’s Eve when the hours will run from 10.00 hrs on New Year’s Eve through to 24.00 hrs on New Years Day. 1.2 The hours for the provision of indoor sporting events and the performances of dance shall be 10.00 hrs to 23.00 hrs every day of the week. 1.3 The hours for the other forms of regulated entertainment, namely the provision of live music, recorded music, anything of a similar description, making music dancing and entertainment of a similar description shall be 10.00 hrs to 24.00 hrs every day of the week.

The above restrictions do not prohibit: (a) during the first thirty minutes after the above hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises; (b) during the first thirty minutes after the above hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel; (c) during the first thirty minutes after the above hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals; (d) consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking or sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises: (e) the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered: (f) the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club; (g) - deleted - (h) the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or (i) the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or (j) the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purpose of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises. n.b.: A person shall be treated as residing in any premises, notwithstanding that he occupies sleeping accommodation in a separate building, if he is provided with that accommodation in the course of a business of providing board and lodging for reward at those premises and the building is habitually used for the purpose by way of annexe or overflow in connection with those premises and is occupied and managed with those premises.
  4. Being “exempt licensed premises” within the Late Night Refreshment Houses Act 1969, section 1(2), the premises may be kept open for public refreshment, resort and entertainment until the end of “normal evening closing time” being 30 minutes beyond the times stipulated in paragraph 1 above, depending which applies.
  5. The playing of dominoes or cribbage in a place to which the public has access, and in respect of which a justices’ on licence is in force, is exempt from the prohibition on gaming in a public place by virtue of s.6 Gaming Act 1968 s.6.
  6. No additional licence is required for the provision in the premises of public entertainment by the reproduction of wireless (including television) broadcasts or of programmes included in any programme service (within the meaning of the Broadcasting Act 1990) other than a sound or television broadcasting service, or of public entertainment by way of music or singing only which is provided solely by the reproduction of recorded sound.   7. The hours of opening will be displayed on the club’s literature, as sent out to club members. Public Safety
  8. Where possible, the car park lighting will be illuminated during the hours of darkness when licensable activities are taking place.

  10. The volume of the amplification system for any description of musical entertainment shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties. Protection of children from harm
