Licence conditions (21)
  1. ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
  2. a) General - all four licensing objectives:
  3. 1. The Challenge 25 scheme shall be in operation.
  4. 2. The licence holder shall maintain comprehensive regulatory compliance procedures for all aspects of the four licensing objectives.
  5. b) The prevention of crime and disorder:
  6. 1. Digital CCTV will be installed and will be maintained on a 24 hour basis. Data will be retained for a period of 31 days and will be made available to the Police for evidential purposes.
  7. 2. The building will be alarmed and staff trained as to use of alarm call points within the store and mobile alarms.
  8. 3. Sales of alcohol for consumption on the premises will be confined to the Restaurant, Deli Bar and Cafe. These areas will only be made available to customers when the store is open and no sale of alcohol will be made from these areas after 23.00 Mondays to Sundays.

  12. 1. The premises shall have in place a written Challenge 25 policy. This policy shall be actively promoted and state that any person to which the sale or supply of alcohol is being made, who looks or appears to be under 25 years of age shall be asked to provide identification to prove that they are 18 years of age or over. The following are the only forms of identification that will be accepted:
  13. a) Passport;
  14. b) Photo Driving Licence;
  15. c) Pass accredited holographic proof of age card;
  16. d) National including EU Identity cards.
  17. 2. Signs promoting this policy shall be prominently displayed in the premises.
  18. 3. Staff shall receive training to ensure that in cases of any doubt whether a purchaser is over the age of 18 they shall refuse the sale of alcohol unless valid identification is produced.
  19. 4. Till prompts shall remind staff at points of sale of alcohol to ensure the purchaser is over 18.
  20. 5. All displays of alcohol will be appropriately ticketed to advise purchasers that it is an offence for those under 18 to purchase alcohol.
  21. 6. Till points will be monitored by the digital CCTV system.
