Licence conditions (11)
  1. The premises shall operate in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme. This scheme operates on the basis that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years and over, anyone who appears under 25 years of age will be asked for ID
  2. Notices advertising that the premises operates a "Challenge 25" scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises entrance and inside the premises. In addition, signs shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position, both inside and outside of the premises, warning adults it is an offence to buy alcohol on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age.
  3. The only acceptable forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be: a. proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; b. passport; c. UK photo driving licence; or d. other ID with the prior written approval of the Licensing Authority.
  4. A book, or other form of record, shall be kept in which the date, time, date and circumstances under which any challenge made in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme shall be recorded. This book shall be made available for inspection by a Police Officer, community support officer or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority.
  5. All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive regular training on the prevention of underage sales of alcohol which shall include: a. operation of the "Challenge 25" scheme; b. types of acceptable ID; c. method of recording challenges; and d. such training shall be recorded and these records shall, on request, be made available to any police, community support or authorised Council officers upon demand.
  6. At all times when the premises operate in accordance with this licence system serving the premises shall: a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; b. show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made and all images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days. c. the original, or a copy of the CCTV recordings, shall be provided upon demand, any police officer, community support officer or authorised person. d. copies of the CCTV recordings shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
  7. Alcohol shall only be served to patrons attending the premises for a substantial table meal.
  8. No alcohol shall be supplied with any take away food.
  9. Notices shall be displayed requesting that patrons leave the premises quietly.
  10. The doors and windows shall be kept closed at all times.
  11. Persons aged under 16 years shall only be permitted on the premises if accompanied by an adult.
