Licence conditions (10)
  1. Supply of alcohol.
  2. CCTV must be installed at the premises in the form of a recordable system: • Capable of providing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions particularly facial recognition. • Cameras must encompass all entrances and exits to the premises and all areas where the sale/ supply of alcohol occurs. • This will include the external area immediately outside the entrance, along with CCTV cameras in every booth / room. • In addition, there is to be an additional high resolution 15" monitor sited in or near the bar area or foyer entrance. • Equipment must be maintained in good working order and checked every 12 months. • The system shall record in real time and operate whilst the premises are open for licensable activities. • All equipment shall be accurately time and date stamped. • CCTV recordings must be kept available for a minimum period of 31 days and handed to Police on request. • The recording/data storage equipment shall be kept in a secure environment under restricted access to the Premises Licence Holder or other responsible named individual. • The Premises Licence Holder (PLH)/ Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) are to ensure that there are sufficient members of trained staff available to be able to download or view CCTV evidence with the minimum of delay at the reasonable request of an authorised police officer. The CCTV system is to be checked on a weekly basis, to ensure compliance with the above conditions by the PLH or DPS and written records maintained. • These records are to be produced on request of an authorised police officer. • The CCTV system should be maintained and checked every twelve months by a qualified installing company producing a letter of compliance.
  3. Staff will be trained regarding the premises licence and their responsibilities in the retail sale of alcohol: • Regular 6 monthly refresher training will also be undertaken. • Training records will be retained for twelve months and will be made available for inspection upon reasonable request by the police officer. A challenge 25 policy will be operated at the premises with a till prompt system for alcohol products, acceptable forms of identification are: • A passport. • Photo card driving licence. • Military ID. • PASS accredited identification card. • Any other ID approved for use by the Home Office. • No children under the age of 16 to be permitted on the premises after 21:00 hours. • Notices in relation to this will be displayed prominently at the premises.
  4. An incident log will be operated and maintained: It will be produced to a relevant officer of the police upon request. • Records will be retained for 12 months. • It will be a record of any activity of a violent, criminal or anti-social nature. • The record will contain the time and date, the nature of theincident, the people involved, the action taken and details of the person responsible for the management of the premises at the time of the incident.
  5. A refusals log (till prompt, electronic or book) will be operated and maintained and will be produced to a relevant officer of the police authority upon request.
  6. A ledger (written or electronic) be kept recording the name and address of all persons booking a karaoke booth either in advance of or on the night.
  7. Two SIA door staff will be deployed from 22:00 hours until closure on Friday & Saturday.
  8. Use of the new karaoke lounge to be by pre-booked parties only.
  9. All doors and windows to be kept closed at all times except for access and egress.
  10. No children under the age of 16 to be permitted on the premises after 21.00 hours.
