Licence conditions (13)
  1. Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
  2. The licence holder shall ensure that all polices, assessments and staff training will be monitored and kept up to date.
  3. The licence holder shall regularly train staff in the responsible sale of alcohol and these training records will be kept on the premises and will be available for inspection by an authorised officer on request.
  4. The licence holder will ensure that staff are trained on the ‘Ask for Angela’ scheme. Records of the training will be maintained and kept at the premises. The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
  5. The premises shall install and maintain a comprehensive CCTV system. CCTV will cover all public areas where licensable activities take place, including entry and exit points. The CCTV system shall continually record whilst the premises is open for licensable activities and when customers remain on the premises. All recordings shall be stored for a minimum period of 30 days with date and time stamping. Recordings shall be made available immediately upon the request of Police or an authorised officer. A staff member who is able to operate the system shall be on the premises at all times when the premises are open to the public. This staff member will be able to show recordings to Police or an authorised officer with minimum delay when requested and be able to download video onto a disc or memory stick, which can be played back on a computer or other digital retrieval system, within 24 hours of a request for download. The CCTV system will be regularly checked to ensure that it is functioning correctly.
  6. The licence holder shall maintain the motion detection sensors with lights as part of premises CCTV system.
  7. The licence holder shall ensure clear prominent signage will be displayed throughout the premises informing customers and staff that there is CCTV in operation.
  8. The licence holder will liaise with local authorities and schemes such as Pub Watch to ensure Community safety. Public Safety
  9. Health and safety, and fire, risk assessments will be reviewed and updated on a regular basis by the premises licence holder. The Prevention of Public Nuisance
  10. The Licence holder shall display notices on the premises requesting customers to respect neighbours and leave the premises quietly.
  11. The licence holder shall monitor noise levels at the premises and take appropriate action. The Protection of Children from Harm
  12. The licence holder shall implement the 'Challenge 25' scheme, ensuring prominent signage is displayed throughout the premises. The Licence Holder shall ensure that any person selling or supplying alcohol at the premises, asks for photographic proof of ID document where they have reason to suspect that the individual may be under 25 years of age.
  13. The Licence holder shall ensure that no children under the age of 18 years are allowed on the premises after 20:00 hours unless accompanied by an adult.

Licensed hours are the most a premises may open or trade under its licence, not its actual opening times.
