  1. The premises shall operate a Challenge 25 policy, whereby any person who appears under 25 years of age shall be required to provide proof of age using an acceptable form of ID. The only acceptable forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol; shall be a: a. proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; b. passport; or c. EU photo driving licence
  2. A refusals book, or similar record, shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded forthwith the date, time and circumstances under which any attempted purchase by a young customer has been refused. This book or other form of record must be made available for inspection by any police officer, community support officer or authorised officer upon demand.
  3. Notices advertising that the premises operates a Challenge 25 policy shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises entrance(s) and inside at the premises.
  4. Notices shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position, both inside and outside the premises, warning adults that it is an offence to buy alcohol on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age.
  5. The CCTV system serving the premises shall: a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; b. make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol and facial images of the purchasers of alcohol; and c. show an accurate date and time that the images/ recordings were made.
  6. All CCTV images/ recordings shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days and the original, or a copy of the CCTV images/ recordings, shall be provided upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person.
  7. Copies of CCTV images/ recordings shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
  8. No alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason.
  9. The premises shall operate a clear window policy from 1 metre from ground level, so as to afford staff an unobstructed view of the outside premises. The only exception to this policy shall be those notices required to be displayed by law or as a condition of this licence.
  10. Staff shall receive training on induction, and at least every six months thereafter, on the responsible retailing of alcohol, the licensing objectives and other appropriate management controls, for example reminding customers to exit in a quiet and proper manner and not to congregate outside of the shop. Such training shall be recorded and records shall be made available for inspection by any police officer, community support officer or authorised officer upon demand.
  11. Notices shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the entrance to the premises stating that ?only two unaccompanied children shall be permitted on the premises at any one time.
  12. The following alcoholic beverages shall be kept either behind a staffed counter or in a locked display cabinets at all times: Mixed alcoholic beverages under 10% a.b.v Beers or ciders over 5.5% a.b.v; and Alcoholic beverages over 20% in containers that hold les than 70ml.
  13. Alcohol shall only be displayed, including any kept in locked cabinets, in the areas identified on the plan submitted with the applications as 1, 2, 3 and 4.
  14. A contact phone number for the Designated Premises Supervisor shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the exterior of the premises in order that local residents and traders can call directly if they have any cause for complaint.
  15. Notices shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the entrance to the premises (interior and exterior) requesting customers to ?please enter and exit in a quiet and proper manner so as not to disturb local residents and do not congregate outside of the premises.
