Licence conditions (18)
  1. Prevention of Crime and Disorder:-
  2. Any event which attracts at least 6000 people will require a traffic management plan to be drawn up by Kent Police and agreed by the management at Leeds Castle. The plan shall be attached to the premises licence and will be used during ally such events and can only be altered or varied with the agreement of the police.
  3. Leeds Castle shall advise Kent Police at least 21 days in advance of an event of the projected number of customers attending.
  4. It shall be the final decision of the police as to whether the full traffic management plan will be implemented depending on the numbers projected and Leeds Castle Management will abide by this decision, subject ot acceptable costs being agreed for any police involvement.
  5. A risk assessment detailing the risks to pedestrians within the area covered by the traffic management plan at car parks before and after an event will be produced and submitted to police at least 2 months prior to any event taking place. This period can be varied only with the prior agreement of the Kent Police Licensing Officer.
  6. Total capacity for the grounds is 19,999 persons.
  7. For ticketed events to be held on a Saturday or Sunday, the maxiumum number of customers to be admitted to the premises will be 16,500. In the event that tickets may be sold on the gate, the total number of tickets that may be sold prior to the day of an event is 14,500.
  8. The figure set out in condition 6 is exclusive of:- (i) Any staff or personnel engaged by Leeds Castle or its caterers. (ii) Any subcontractors involved in the event including performers and stage crew. (iii) Day visitors and persons using the castle and its buildings for other functions at the same time as such an event is being held.
  9. On five occasions in any given year, the total capacity for any event that has a start time after 1400 hrs held on Monday to Friday inclusive will be 14,500. This will be subnect to pre consultation with police. For ticketed events where tickets are to be sold on the gate the maximum number ot tickets that can be sold prior to the date of the event is 12,500.
  10. The total number of ticket sales for all other events that have a start time after 1400 hrs held on Monday to Friday is 10,000 subject to the exclusion set out in condition
  11. For ticketed events where tickets are to be sold on the gate, the maximum number of tickets that can be sold prior to the day of the event is 8,000.
  12. A car parking plan for any large event (which attracts at least 6,000 people) is to be drawn up by Leeds Castle and agreed with police.
  13. The plan referred to at 10 above can only be altered or varied with the agreement of the police.
  14. A holding area between the event area and the car parks will be ready for access by the public at least 30 minutes prior to the published gate opening time.
  15. A risk assessment will be submitted to the police detaliing the numbers of security staff to be used and detailing within it the number of SIA registered staff at least 2 months piror to the commencement of the event. This period can be varied only with the prior agreement of the Kent Police Licensing Officer.
  16. A full list of SIA registered staff will be submitted to the police at least 1 week prior to the vent commencing. This list may produce a pool of people out of which the actual personnel will be drawn.
  17. The Police and Fire Authority will be informed in writing of any other events or functions scheduled to be held on the same day as any other event at least 2 months prior to that event commencing. This period can be varied only with the agreement of the Kent Police Licensing Officer and the Kent Fire and Safety Officer.
  18. The police shall be informed of any promotional alcohol outlets in the event area during any event with at least 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the event. This time period can be varied only with the agreement of the Kent Police Licensing
