Licence conditions (23)
  1. There shall be maintained on the premises at all times an adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials for the use of customers.
  2. The electrical installation shall be inspected and tested at intervals specified by a competent person. A satisfactory and valid inspection report shall be available on site for inspection by an officer of the authority.
  3. Regular checks of noise levels shall be made outside the premises, which must include the stairwell access to the first floor to the rear of the development.
  4. Fully operational CCTV system shall be in place with access to recordings and displayed notices. CCTV shall be placed inside and outside of the premises and be installed by a professional CCTV installation company.
  5. The premises will be kept clean and tidy with any bottles and glasses removed from public areas once they are finished with.
  6. Proof of age and anti-drugs policies will be in place and available to all staff members.
  7. Customer number limits will be in place for the premises to avoid overcrowding.
  8. The Allerdale statement of licensing policy will be available to all staff and updated when it is reviewed.
  9. Training will be provided on antisocial behaviour for all staff members.
  10. The company will be part of any pubwatch schemes for the town and assist in the running of these where possible.
  11. An alarm system shall be in place, installed by a professional security company and there shall be limited and responsible key holders for the premises.
  12. There will be a fire evacuation plan in place and all staff will be trained in this.
  13. Fire extinguishers and appropriate exit signage will be in place supplied by a professional fire safety company. Safety lighting is provided as part of the service charges for the court and will be available in case of power cuts.
  14. Appropriate lighting or signage will be in place for any trip hazards.
  15. There will be zero tolerance to drug use and smoke free compliance in place.
  16. A written noise abatement procedure document shall be followed and displayed prominently on the premises.
  17. Staff will offer to contact local taxi services for people on departure to encourage a swift departure and discourage drinking under the influence.
  18. Any rubbish will be removed from the premises and put in the designated bin store when closing for the evening.
  19. Any pest control will be regulated by a professional pest control company.
  20. Any customer deemed to be intoxicated will be refused service.
  21. A think 25 policy will be in place and enforced by all staff.
  22. Staff training will be provided on the refusal of service and how to undertake correct age checks with valid ID.
  23. Child protection procedures shall be in place and available to staff. No child under the age of 18 will be allowed entry to the shop unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
