Licence conditions (14)
  1. The CCTV system serving the premises shall: o be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; o make and retain clear evidential standard images that include the entrance to the premises; o show an accurate date and time that the images were made; and o all images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days.
  2. The original, or a copy of the CCTV images, shall be provided upon demand to any Police Officer, Community support officer or authorised person.
  3. The original or a copy of the CCTV images shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
  4. The age verification scheme operated at the premises shall be Challenge
  5. The premises shall operate in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme. This means that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears under 25 years of age shall be required to provide proof of age using an acceptable form of ID.
  6. The only forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a:- (a) proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; (b) passport; (c) UK photo driving licence; or (d) other form of ID as agreed in writing by the Licensing Authority.
  7. Notices advertising that the premise operates a "Challenge 25" scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises entrance.
  8. A book, or other form of record, shall be kept in which the date, time and circumstances under which any challenge made in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme shall be recorded.
  9. The "challenge book", or other form of record, a version of which must be kept in English, shall be made available for inspection by any police, community support officer or authorised person upon demand.
  10. All staff who responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive training on induction and every six months thereafter on: (a) the prevention of underage sales of alcohol which shall include: (i) operation of the "Challenge 25" scheme; (ii) types of acceptable ID; (iii) method of recording challenges; (iv) proxy sales; and (v) likely consequence of making an underage sale. (b) refusing sales of alcohol to persons who appear to be drunk; (c ) the operation of the CCTV equipment.
  11. Alcohol shall only be sold to persons attending the premises for a substantial table meal or awaiting to be seated for such a meal.
  12. Where a customer aged 18 years or over indicates that they are purchasing alcohol for a 16 or 17 year old to drink with their meal, the 16 or 17 year old must also be required to produce a valid proof of age.
  13. There shall be no off sales of alcohol from the premises.
  14. No entertainment of an adult style or nature shall be provided at the premises.
