Licence conditions (11)
  1. CCTV shall be installed on the licensed premises and fully maintained, showing correct date and time information. CCTV to cover the internal licensable area and the outdoor customer and smoking areas. CCTV shall provide clear images of people entering and exiting the licensable area. There shall be one member of staff during licensable hours, trained to use the CCTV and provide copies at the request of Police or other authorised licensing authority. All CCTV footage to be retained for a minimum of 31 days.
  2. Staff training shall be recorded and updated every 3 months. Training shall cover: • The licensing objectives. • The requirements for ID as part of age verification. Including Challenge 25 • Dealing with an intoxicated person • Dealing with disorderly incidents /disorderly persons • Dealing with drug related activity on a licenced premise. • Recording of any refusal to sell alcohol • Recording of incidents • Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults • Reporting of incidents to police and information to be shared with police to promote • All training records will be available to an authorised officer on request.
  3. An incident log shall be maintained on the premises, which documents the date and time of any incidents involving the premises, which could undermine the licensing objectives. This shall be completed within 24 hours of the incident, be available upon request of a police officer or an authorised officer and will record the following: i. All crimes reported at the venue ii. All ejections of patrons iii. Any complaints received concerning crime and disorder iv. All drugs seized or found v. Any incidents of disorder vi. Any faults in the CCTV system, including action taken to remedy vii. Persons banned from the premises
  4. The outside at the front of the premises shall be for persons seated at tables and chairs. Tables and chairs shall be removed by 2200hours.
  5. Patrons smoking at the front of the premises shall be monitored by staff. There will be no drinks permitted outside by people who are smoking.
  6. There shall be a record of any refused sale of alcohol. The refusal register shall be inspected on a regular basis (at least monthly) by the DPS.
  7. The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure a 'Challenge 25'policy is always adopted on the premises. Signage of the 'Challenge 25 'policy shall be prominently displayed on the premises.
  8. The age verification policy adopted by the premises, in respect of the sale or supply of alcohol will be Challenge 25, which means that those seeking to purchase alcohol at the premises who appear to be under the age of 25 will be required to provide acceptable evidence that they are 18 years of age (or older) before any alcohol is sold or supplied to them.
  9. Members of the public will be prevented from accessing hot food and preparation areas to prevent risk of scald or burns.
  10. When licensable activities conducted the facilities for licensable activities will be designed and operated so as to prevent the transmission of audible noise or perceptible vibration throughout the fabric of the building or structure to adjoining properties.
  11. The PLH will ensure patrons use the external area in a manner which does not cause disturbance to nearby residents and businesses in the vicinity.
