The prevention of under age drinking and drinking to excess To ensure that all possible is done to ensure the safety of members, guests and the public. To ensure that the club functions do not cause a public nuisance To ensure that any children involved with the club are treated with respect as laid down in our child protection policy and that all members are familiar with that policy.,.
We will ensure that all persons using the Licensed Facilities at the club are over 18. If there is any doubt in the mind of the bar person, concerning the age of a person wanting to purchase alcohol proof of age will be asked for, if non is forth coming they will not be served. If any member or guest appears to the bar person to be in an intoxicated state they will not be allowed to purchase further alcohol. Notices to this effect will be placed in the bar area.,.
The club has a health and safety policy also covering Food, Health and Safety. Should there be any problem on the club premises that may cause a danger to a member, guests or members of the public this danger will be clearly identified and if the danfer is to great the club will close until the danger is rectified. If a member or guest (in the opinion of the club officer in charge at the time) is not in a fit state to drive that member or guest will be advised to find alternative transport home.,.
Notices will be placed on the premises reminding members and guest to respect the comfort of our neighbours and to leave the premises in a quiet and considerate manner. The clubs primary function is to promote and play green bowls. It is not intended that the premises be used for late night music and dancing.,.
