  1. Alcohol consumption The premises licence holder shall ensure that when alcohol is purchased as part of the ON licence, it must be consumed within the boundaries of the premises which can include the beer garden unless it is otherwise specified.
  2. Pubwatch The premises licence holder shall ensure that the premises will be an active member of any local Pubwatch that is in existence and recognised by the local Police.
  3. A representative will attend all Pubwatch member meetings.
  4. The premises licence holder shall ensure that recordable CCTV is in place when licensable activity is taking place.
  5. This must be of a standard acceptable to the local Police.
  6. There shall be sufficient cameras to cover all primary public areas in addition to cameras covering the entrance and exit areas.
  7. Imagery obtained must be retained for a minimum of 31 days on a rolling basis.
  8. This must be made available in a format that can be viewed by Police and council officials and must be given to them on request.
  9. Glassware The premises licence holder shall ensure that all drinking vessels including bottles are to be made of either safety glass, polycarbonate, aluminium or other unbreakable material.
  10. Alcohol and soft drinks that are not available in such drinking vessels including bottles shall be decanted into appropriate drinking vessels at the bar.
  11. Risk Assessments The premises licence holder shall ensure that all public and private events or functions are subject to a written risk assessment that shall include the date, time and nature of the event, the assessment of risk and the measures put in place to address any identified risks.
  12. This should include consideration for registered security staff.
  13. All risk assessments shall be documented and retained for a minimum of 1 year and shall be made available for inspection by Police and council officials upon request.
  14. Challenge 21 The premises licence holder shall ensure that a system is in place to ensure that every individual who appears to be under 21 years of age seeking to purchase or be supplied with alcohol at or from the premises, shall produce acceptable means of identification and age confirmation.
  15. Acceptable identification shall be a passport, photo driving licence or PASS accredited photo ID.
  16. If the person seeking alcohol is unable to produce acceptable means of identification, no sale or supply of alcohol will be made to or for that person.
  17. Refusals/incident books The premises licence holder shall ensure that a refusals book/incident book or log is maintained at the premises.
  18. These records shall be retained for a minimum of 1 year and be made available to the Police and other responsible authorities upon request.
  19. Training The premises licence holder shall ensure that a training package is in place in order for all staff involved with the sale or supply of alcohol to be sufficiently trained in licensing matters proportionate to their role and aware of their responsibilities.
  20. Records shall be kept of this training, dated and signed by the staff member and trainer.
  21. Refresher training shall be completed at least every 12 months again with documented records made and to be available for inspection from Police and other responsible authorities.
  22. A written record shall be retained at each bar to show the staff that have been authorised to sell alcohol.
  23. This shall be made available to the Police and other responsible authorities.
