- The Licence Holder shall only employ Door Supervisors and Security Attendants registered with the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and must ensure that all Door Supervisors and Security Attendants at all times when on duty wear an identity badge, conspicuously displayed and in a form and manner prescribed by the SIA.
- Authorised sale of: Intoxicating liquor of all descriptions The playing of recorded music is permitted 24 hours a day. On New Year's Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year's Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December). The following non standard timings shall apply in respect of the licensable activities applicable: In the event of the transmission of any recognised international event which falls outside the current permitted hours on the premises licence to permit the sale of alcohol and provision of hot food commencing one hour before the start of the event and ending one hour after the end of the event, the details of the activity to be notified to the Merseyside Police 10 days beforehand. On the days/dates listed the below additional hours are to be permitted for the licensable activity (not including drinking up time):- 1st January 1 hr, 1st March (St Davids) 1 hr, 17th March (St Patricks) 2 hrs, Easter Sunday 1 hr, Easter Monday 1 hr, May Bank Holiday (1st) Sunday prior 2 hrs, May Bank Holiday (1st) Bank holiday Monday 1 hr, May Bank Holiday (2nd) Sunday prior 2 hrs, May Bank Holiday (2nd) Bank Holiday Monday 1 hr, August Bank Holiday Sunday prior 2 hrs, August Bank Holiday Monday 1 hr, Halloween 2 hrs, Christmas Eve 2 hrs, Boxing Day 2 hrs, 27th December 2 hrs, 28th December 2 hrs, 30th December 2 hrs In respect of the non standard and non specific timings there shall be no more than 12 such applications per year (excluding TENs), an operating plan covering the additional measures to be taken to manage crime and disorder on these occasions shall be completed and submitted to Merseyside Police and the Local Authority In respect of the above, a minimum of ten days Notice shall be given to Merseyside Police and the Local Authority, with Merseyside Police reserving the right to veto any of these applications
- The company shall monitor the need for door supervisors and in so doing take into account any advice given by the Police. SIA doorstaff to be employed beyond 2300hrs Thursday to Saturday inclusive if the premises to remain open beyond 2330hrs. The pub manager shall be required to actively participate in and support the local Pubwatch scheme (where active). Text and/or radio pagers, where already used shall be used for any additional hours. Toughened glass shall be used. To operate the existing CCTV at the premises which shall be well maintained, tapes and visual images recorded shall be retained for a period of 31 days and must be handed to the Police upon request and against signature In line with the applicant's Alcohol & Social Responsibility Policy there will be no promotions that encourage illegal, irresponsible or immoderate consumption. Reasonable steps shall be taken to recognise the rights of local residents and to encourage customers to leave the premises quietly. Managers shall liase with local neighbours as part of their duties and resolve any reasonable concerns in accordance with the applicant's role in the Community Guidelines Policy. No adult entertainment (paid for by the company, of a nude physical nature) shall be permitted at these premises. Any children under 16 shall remain the responsibility of the accompanying adult when using the premises (and/or exterior area). Staff shall not be allowed to be in sole supervision of children, which remains the responsibility of the accompanying adult at all times.
