  2. Install and maintain a robust CCTV system to monitor the premises and deter potential incidents proper lighting both inside and outside the premises to enhance visibility and security. Secure Storage for alcohol to prevent theft and unauthorized access Partnerships with local authorities to share information and coordinate efforts to prevent crime and disorder.
  3. By implementing these strategies HeverDRcoffeeshop can effectively promote the four licensing objectives and create a safe and enjoyable environment for its customers.
  4. The prevention of crime and disorder
  5. Staff shall be trained as appropriate in respect of relevant licence conditions, health & safety, first aid, alcohol and drug awareness and conflict management.
  6. Train staff to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity or incidents to the authorities. Staff to refuse service to intoxicated or disruptive individuals.
  7. A staff member from the premises who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system shall be on the premises at all times when the premises is open. This staff member must be able to provide a Police or authorised council officer copies of recent CCTV images or data with the absolute minimum of delay when requested.

  9. Conduct regular fire safety checks and ensure clear emergency exits.
  10. We will provide a well-stocked first aid kit and trained staff to handle minor injuries. Ensure all furniture used is high quality (sturdy furniture that won't easily tip over).
  11. Maintain clean and non-slip floors to prevent accidents.
  12. We adhere to strict food hygiene regulations to prevent foodborne illnesses.
  13. The prevention of public nuisance
  14. Notices shall be prominently displayed at all exits requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and businesses and leave the area quietly.
  15. Provide adequate waste bins and regularly clean up the surrounding area.
  16. Never over-serve alcohol to customers, this ensures we prevent disorderly behavior.
  17. Train staff to handle customer complaints and issues calmly and professionally.
  18. We consider limiting opening hours, especially in residential areas.
  19. The protection of children from harm
  20. A Challenge 21 or Challenge 25 proof of age scheme shall be operated at the premises where the only acceptable forms of identification are recognised photographic identification cards, such as a driving licence, passport or proof of age card with the PASS Hologram.
  21. Never serve excessive amounts of alcohol to parents with children.
  22. Designate specific areas for children as a reading area/colouring , ensuring they are safe and supervised.
