Licence conditions (12)
  1. The Licensing Act 2003 provides in the main sufficient control to maintain the prevention of crime and disorder. It will be the case that the Designated Premises Supervisor will ensure that all staff are trained in this act and that the appropriate authorization is given prior to sales being made.
  2. The service of alcohol will only take place to customers who are or are intending to dine at the premises.
  3. Particular emphasis will be made with reference to under age sales and the refusal of service to people who are, or appear to be, drunk.
  4. Policy will include the implementation of Challenge 21 as a preventative strategy.
  5. A refusal book will be kept on the premises detailing any occasions when a sale is refused.
  6. A certificate confirming the inspection of the fixed electrical installation will be provided to allow the safe provision of amplified music. The certificate will be issued by an NICEIC (or equivalent) person.
  7. Any portable electrical equipment used to provide entertainment will only be connected to a circuit protected by the appropriate residual current device.
  8. No noise nuisance shall be caused by noise or vibration emanating from the premises.
  9. The disposal of items such as glass or bottles shall not take place at a time that would cause nuisance to neighbours.
  10. A notice will be placed at the exits of the premises asking that customers leave quietly with consideration for neighbouring properties.
  11. The Licensing Act 2003 makes clear the responsibilities in relation to the serving of alcohol to children. This will be adhered to and the introduction of Challenge 21 will further reduce the likelihood of this event occurring.
  12. A notice will be displayed in a prominent place advising customers of the main offences relating to the sale of alcohol to persons aged under 18.
