Licence conditions (32)
  1. Risk Assessment The premises licence holder shall ensure that all public and private events or functions are subject to a written Risk Assessment that shall include the date, times and nature of the event, the assessment of risk and the measures put in place to address any identified risks.
  2. All Risk Assessments shall be documented and retained for a minimum of 1 year and shall be made available for inspection by Police and Council officials upon request.
  3. CCTV will be installed at the premises.
  4. Cameras will be sited to observe the entrance and exit doors both inside and outside, the main bar, any licenced area and any external smoking area.
  5. The CCTV system must be operating at all times whilst the premises are open for licensable activity.
  6. All equipment shall have a constant and accurate time and date generation.
  7. Digital systems shall provide good quality playback images that give free flowing playback footage.
  8. Recorded footage will be retained for a minimum of 31 days and will be made available to police immediately on request when investigating allegations of offences or criminal activity.
  9. A trained member of staff will able to operate the system and download images will be on duty during operating hours.
  10. Any images recovered must be playable on a windows based computer system without the need for technical enhancement.
  11. Training All staff involved in the sale or supply of alcohol shall receive licensing training that includes appropriate precautions to prevent the sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 18, the signs and symptoms of drunkenness, the refusal of service due to intoxication and age verification policy.
  12. Records will be kept of such training which must be signed and dated by the member of staff who has received that training.
  13. All staff will receive refresher training every six months as a minimum and records are to be kept of this refresher training.
  14. These records shall be made available to Police and/or Local Authority upon request and shall be kept for at least one year.
  15. Refusal / incident log An incident book or computer log for refusals of service, ID checks and incidents shall be maintained by staff at the premises.
  16. These records shall be retained for a minimum of 1 year and be made available to the Police and other responsible authorities upon request.
  17. Authorisation for alcohol sale / supply.
  18. A written record shall be retained at the bar area to list the staff that have been authorised to sell or supply alcohol following their training.
  19. This shall be made available to the Police upon request.
  20. Security staff When a risk assessment requires such, the premises licence holder shall ensure that a minimum of two (2) Security Industry Authority (SIA) registered Security staff will be on duty.
  21. A further Security staff member should be on duty for every additional 100 customers or part thereof.
  22. In addition, the duty manager should make a dynamic risk assessment of the premises circumstances at the time based on customers or the type of function at the venue and the number of SIA Door Supervisors increased where circumstances dictate.
  23. Noise Control Measures: Sound level monitoring procedures will be established.
  24. Strict noise limits will be enforced to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and minimise disruption outside of the premises.
  25. The customer service telephone line will be manned during events.
  26. Waste Management Protocols: Comprehensive waste management protocols are in place to minimise littering and maintain cleanliness in and around our premises.
  27. This includes providing adequate waste receptacles, conducting regular cleaning patrols, and coordinating with local authorities for waste collection and disposal services.
  28. Community Liaison Initiatives: Encourage open lines of communication via our web and social channels with local residents and businesses to address any concerns or complaints related to our operations.
  29. ID - Challenge 25 The premises licence holder shall ensure that a system is in place to ensure that every individual who appears to be under 25 years of age seeking to purchase or be supplied with alcohol at or from the premises, shall produce acceptable means of identification and age confirmation.
  30. Acceptable identification shall be a passport, photo driving licence or PASS accredited photo ID.
  31. If the person seeking alcohol is unable to produce acceptable means of identification, no sale or supply of alcohol will be made to or for that person.
  32. Children at bar The premises licence holder shall ensure that no child under the age of 16 should stand, sit or remain at the immediate bar area.
