Licence conditions (16)
  1. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by the management committee
  2. The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
  3. The Licensee will ensure that the premises is supervised by a responsible adult at all times when the premises is used for private functions.
  4. The Licensee will ensure that the bar area is properly managed by either a bar manager or trained member of staff.
  5. The Licensee will adopt a policy on checking ID of any person who appears to be under the age of 21.
  6. The Licensee will adopt a refusal register. Public Safety
  7. The Licensee will ensure that an adequate and valid public liability insurance is in force.
  8. The Licensee will ensure that all measures agreed with the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service are implemented.
  9. The Licensee will ensure that first aid materials are available on the premises at all times.
  10. The Licensee will ensure that the fire alarm system and fire extinguishers are maintained. The Prevention of Public Nuisance
  11. The volume of the amplification system shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at nearby residential properties.
  12. The external Doors/windows to the South and East elevation of the function room shall be kept firmly closed when musical entertainment (other than background music) is taking place.
  13. In the event that additional ventilation is necessary to the function room, a detailed scheme shall be submitted to the Environmental Protection Section and only an approved scheme shall be fitted.

The Licensee will ensure that notices are displayed at the main entrance and exit doors to ensure that all patrons leave the premises quietly and that a responsible person remains on the premises until all persons have left to oversee safe and orderly departure.   15. The Licensee will ensure that children will not be allowed on the premises unless accompanied by an adult when alcohol is being served.
  16. The Licensee will ensure that all bar staff seek credible photographic proof of age from anyone seeking to purchase alcohol who appears to be under the age of 21 years.
