Licence conditions (12)

General All persons who sell or supply alcohol to customers must have licensing training.
Training must take place within six weeks of employment.
Any new employees will be supervised until the training has taken place.
Refresher training should be repeated a minimum of every six months or earlier if required due to changes of legislation.
Training records must be kept on the premises and shall contain the nature, content and frequency of all training.
Records must be made available for inspection by police, police licensing officer and authorised officers from the Council on reasonable request either electronically or in hard copy. The prevention of crime and disorder CCTV will be provided in the form of a recordable system, capable of providing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions particularly facial recognition.
Cameras shall record all ingress and egress to the premises, fire exits and all areas where the sale and supply of alcohol occurs.
Equipment must be maintained in good working order, with recordings correctly time and date stamped. Recordings MUST be kept in date order, kept for a period of 31 days and handed to police and authorised officers on reasonable request.
The premises licence holder must ensure at all times a DPS or appointed member of staff are on the premises and are capable and competent at downloading CCTV footage in a recordable format to the police and local authority on reasonable request.
The recording equipment and discs/tapes shall be kept in a secure environment under the control of the DPS or other responsible named individual.
An operational daily log report must be maintained and endorsed by signature, indicating the system has been checked and is compliant. In the event of any failures, any action taken is to be recorded.
In the event of technical failure of the CCTV equipment the premises licence holder or DPS must report the failure to the police licensing officer immediately. (licensing.west.division@kent.police.uk). Notices stating that CCTV is in operation shall be displayed throughout the premises. All staff who serve alcohol shall be authorised to sell alcohol either by the DPS, the management or a person who works at the premises who is a holder of a personal licence. There will be no supply of alcohol to anyone who appears to be intoxicated. The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure that an incident report register is keep kept at the premises is a written or electronic format, in which full details of all incidents are recorded. This shall be completed as soon as possible and in any case, no later than the close of business on the day of the incident. The time and date when the report was completed, and by whom, is to form part of the entry. The register shall be kept on the premises at all times and shall be produced to an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority or the Police on request. Public safety Suitable and sufficient fire equipment will be available and serviced yearly. We shall ensure fire exits are checked regularly and are kept clear from any obstructions at all times. All notices in relation to public health and safety will be prominently displayed at the premises. The management shall be responsible for conducting a Fire Risk Assessment and also a Health and Safety Risk Assessment for the premises.
