- CCTV is installed covering the exterior of the property, providing 2 MP images and enabling real time playback (30 FPS)at the highest resolution this is retained for a minimum of 28 days and made available to Responsible Authorities on request. Staff will be fully trained by the DPS on Licensing Act Legislation to ensure their understanding of the Licensing Objectives, they will also be fully trained on how and when to refuse the sale of alcohol. This will include under -age sales and refusing to sell to drunks. Training will adhere to the Company policy which outlines guidance as part of staff training. With regards to Deliveries at the time of ordering, the following details shall be recorded and made available for inspection by a responsible authority under the Licensing Act 2003 (a) the full name of the purchaser, (b) the address of the purchaser, (c) the telephone number and email address for the purchaser, (e) the method of payment and details of alcohol supplied, (f) confirmation the customer is over 18 years of age. Alcohol shall not be delivered other than to residential and business addresses with a postcode. If the delivery driver is not able to deliver the alcohol it shall be returned by the delivery company to the premises licence holder. Alcohol shall not be delivered other than by adult delivery drivers. The delivery company/business owner shall record the name of the delivery driver who makes each delivery of alcohol. Alcohol shall only be delivered after full payment has first been received on-line or over the telephone. Delivery drivers shall only deliver the actual alcohol that has already been paid for in full on-line, or over the telephone. Customers shall be advised that delivery drivers reserve the right to refuse delivery as follows: a. No adult is present, or the person accepting the delivery cannot produce ID on a 'Challenge 21/25' basis if requested. b. The person in receipt of the delivery appears to be intoxicated through
- People will only be allowed to enter the premises if they have a booking if they have not booked they will not be allowed in. A record will be kept of all bookings for a minimum of 12 months. The licence holder and authorised personnel will check the premises before it opens to the public to ensure there are no Health & Safety risks to persons. The electrical system, including all portable appliances will be inspected and tested annually by a suitably qualified electrician. All gas appliances will be inspected and tested annually by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer, records of this will be kept and shown on request to the Responsible Authorities Fire Safety measures are maintained in good working order and their adequacy will be determined on a regular basis by the carrying out of a fire risk assessment.
- Staff have access to the Company's internal training manual and will be fully trained by the DPS on how to deal with drunk and disorderly behaviour. An Incident book will be maintained to log refusal of alcohol to a drunk person. Staff will regularly patrol the premises both indoors and outdoors to supervise the orderly conduct of patrons. Suitable signage will be displayed in the garden areas requesting patrons to respect the amenities of local residents For Events of over 50 customers a guestlist will be operated from on-line ticketing . If there are more than 50 customers on site there will be designated security personnel of a ratio to 1:50 Visitors to the Premises will park in the private grounds, behind the gated entrance, in a private car park. The only time the lay-by will be used will be for customers collecting food form our takeaway service. There will be a twice weekly litter check of the lay-by to ensure it continues to remain free of litter. the litter patrols will be logged in a logbook and provide photographic evidence of patrols.
- Prevention of Children from Harm A "Challenge 25" policy will be employed, where those individuals who appear to be under 25 attempting to purchase alcohol will be asked for photo identification Staff will be fully trained on how to spot under-age drinking attempts and how to correctly ask for and check identification. A Refusal book will be kept too log any refused sales to anyone who cannot produce satisfactory proof of age identification. Children (under the age of 18) are not permitted on-site unless they are accompanied by an adult. Staff will be made fully aware that sales by proxy are forbidden for those under 18 unless it is for a person of 16 or 17 who has a drink of beer, wine or cider purchased for them by an adult when that person is consuming a table meal. When delivering the driver shall only complete the delivery of alcohol to adults on a 'Challenge 21/25' basis and valid photo ID (Driving Licence /Passport/Pass Card)shall be required to be shown if the recipient appears to be less than 21/25 years of age. Customers at the time of ordering are to be reminded that it is a criminal offence for a person under 18 years to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol for themselves or on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years. At the time of ordering, if the purchaser is purchasing alcohol as a gift for a third party (the recipient) the following details shall be recorded and made available for inspection by a responsible authority under the Licensing Act 2003 (a) the full name of the recipient, (b) the address of the recipient, (c) the method of payment and details of alcohol supplied, (f) confirmation that the recipient is over 18 years of age.
