Licence conditions (10)
  1. Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
  2. The licence holder shall ensure all staff are trained in responsible alcohol retailing. This training can be done in house and the training records should be kept on the premises and must be made available for inspection by an authorised officer from a Responsible Authority immediately upon request. This training must be updated every six months.
  3. The training shall include the understanding of the terms, conditions and restrictions of the premises licence and the operation of the CCTV equipment and the prevention of unlawful sales of alcohol. The prevention of crime and disorder.
  4. The Licence holder shall install and maintain a CCTV system on the premises which must record at all times the premises are open to the public. The recording must be kept for a minimum of 28 days and be available for inspection by an authorised officer on reasonable demand.
  5. The licence holder shall keep and maintain a refusals register on the premises which will be available for inspection by an authorised officer on request.
  6. The Licensee will keep records written in English with date, time and circumstances of any challenges made in accordance with the ‘Challenge 25’ scheme and disorder and ejection or other relevant incidents that occurs on the premises. Public Safety
  7. The Licensee shall take all necessary steps to ensure all the fire and safety regulations are active and always adhered to.
  8. The Licensee shall ensure that Firefighting equipment is installed and easily accessible. The prevention of public nuisance
  9. The licence holder shall display signage at the entry and exit doors advising customers to respect residents, leave quietly, not to loiter outside the premises or in the vicinity and to dispose of litter legally. The protection of children from harm.
  10. The licence holder shall implement the 'Challenge 25' scheme, ensuring prominent signage is displayed throughout the premises and all staff are trained in its operation. The Licence Holder shall ensure that any person selling or supplying alcohol at the premises, under the authority of a Personal Licence Holder, asks for photographic proof of ID document where they have reason to suspect that the individual may be less than 25 years of age.
