Licence conditions (40)
  1. The company monitors the need for door supervision and in so doing takes into account any advice given by the police.
  2. Pub manager will participate in Pubwatch where it exists.
  3. Toughened glass currently in use and will continue to be used for any additional hours.
  4. Where existing, CCTV system will continue to operate during the additional hours.

  6. CCTV will be installed with recording facilities. Such recordings shall be retained for a period of 31 days and made available within a reasonable time upon request by the police, such as to cover the main entrance to the premises.
  7. CCTV warning signs to be fitted in public places.
  8. The CCTV system must be operating at all times whilst the premises are open for licensable activity. All equipment shall have a constant and accurate time and date generation.
  9. The recording system will be able to capture a minimum of 4 frames per second and all recorded footage must be securely retained for a minimum of 28 days.
  10. Records must be made on a weekly basis and kept for inspection to show that the system is functioning correctly and that data is being securely retained.
  11. The DPS or premises manager must be able to demonstrate that the CCTV system has measures to prevent recordings being tampered with, i.e. password protected.
  12. There shall be sufficient members of trained staff at the premises during operating hours to be able to provide viewable copies immediately to police on request when investigating allegations of offences or criminal activity.
  13. Any images recovered must be in a viewable format on either disc or VHS. Footage supplied in a digital format on CD or DVD will also have a copy of the CCTV system software enabled on the disc to allow playback.
  14. In the event of technical failure of the CCTV equipment the Premises Licence holder/DPS MUST report the failure to Havant Police Licensing Unit within 24 hours.
  15. Staff will receive training on matters concerning underage sales, drugs policy and operating procedures.
  16. There shall be a zero tolerance policy in relation to drugs at the premises and there shall be regular checks by management to prevent the use by patrons. Drugs seized shall be stored securely and handed to the police.
  17. The premises shall operate a proof of age scheme and will require photographic identification from any person who appears to be under the age of 21 years.
  18. The management of the premises will liaise with police on issues of local concern and disorder. The premises shall be an active participant in , and a member of Havant District Pub watch as long as it exists, or unless by a vote of the membership , the premises are excluded from such membership.
  19. Extensive Company policies in place.
  20. Empty bottles and glasses will be removed as soon as possible to reduce risk. 2 . Toughened glasses will be used in the premises where appropriate.
  21. Polycarbonate glasses will be used for sales from temporary external bar.
  22. Signage shall be placed in the external patio area advising patrons that drinks should not be taken beyond the patio area.
  23. Reasonable steps are taken to recognise the rights of local residents and to encourage customers to leave the premises quietly.
  24. Manger to maintain liaison with local community.
  25. Where appropriate, prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits, requesting the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
  26. Patrons will be encouraged by staff to leave quietly and respect the interests of the occupiers of any nearby noise sensitive premises. Where appropriate the licensee or a suitable staff member will monitor patrons leaving at closing time.
  27. Contact numbers for local Taxi firm's shall be kept on the premises and made available to patrons requiring a taxi.

  31. Manager and staff briefed on the importance of their responsibilities in ensuring customers are over 18.
  32. No adult entertainment of a nude or physical nature (paid for by the company) is permitted.
  33. Any children under 16 remain the responsibility of the accompanying adult when using these premises.
  34. Staff are not allowed to be in sole supervision of children which remains the responsibility of the accompanying adult at all times.

  36. The restrictions set out in the Licensing Act 2003 will apply. No unusual or additional risks of harm to children have been identified.
  37. Children under the age of 16 shall not be permitted to enter the premises after 22:00 hrs unless they are attending a pre-booked function with an adult.
  38. There shall be adequate controls in place including staff training to safeguard against the sale of alcohol and cigarettes to persons under 18 years.
  39. The premises supervisor or appointed staff member shall ensure that when children are admitted to the premises their presence is not inconsistent with the style of operation of the premises at that time and the licensable activities that are being carried out.
  40. Policies in relation to children shall be adequately communicated to patrons by staff or through appropriate signage i.e. Challenge 21.
