  1. General Conditions
  2. On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31 December).
  3. The Licensee will ensure that an adequate and valid public liability insurance is in force and that a copy of the schedule is available for inspection by an authorised officer on request.
  4. The Licensee will ensure that training is provided to all staff relating to drunkenness awareness. Crime and Disorder
  5. The Licensee will ensure that a policy is in place for ejecting disruptive customers from the premises, and that staff are trained accordingly.
  6. The Licensee will ensure that drinks are not served to customers for consumption from glass bottles.
  7. The Licensee will ensure that adequate numbers of staff are available at all times on the premises when it is open to the general public.
  8. The Licensee will ensure that bar staff do not admit or serve customers who behave in a drunk and disorderly manner. Public Safety
  9. The Licensee will comply with any fire safety requirements requested by the Fire Officer.
  10. The Licensee will ensure that the Fire Brigade is called immediately in the event of a fire, however slight, and the details recorded in a Fire Log-Book.
  11. The Licensee will ensure that the premises is maintained in a safe and well-lit condition. Prevention of Public Nuisance
  12. The Licensee will ensure that adequate steps are in place e.g. signage and/or sufficient staff on site) to ensure that customers leave the premises quietly.
  13. The Licensee will ensure that adequate waste bins are provided, and emptied on a regular basis.
  14. The Licensee will carry out regular checks inside/outside the premises and clear any litter
  15. The volume of the amplification system for any description of musical entertainment shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties.
  16. A responsible person shall monitor the music levels outside the building, and implement any changes to reduce the noise levels in accordance with any request by an authorised office of the Council immediately and ensure that volume is maintained at the reduced level.
  17. After 23:30hrs all external doors and windows must be kept closed, other than for access and egress when amplified music and amplified speech is taking place. Protection of children from harm  The Licensee will ensure that children under the age of 16 are accompanied at all times by an adult while they are on the premises.
