Non Standard Timings: The Felixstowe Cricket Club only uses the premises between April and September each year.
Licence conditions (14)
  1. General Conditions
  2. The premises will be managed in accordance with the rules of the Club.
  3. Bar staff will ensure opening and closing times are strictly adhered to.
  4. Conditions imposed by The Licensing Act 1964. Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours. In this condition, permitted hours means: ) On weekdays, other than Christmas Day, Good Friday or New Year’s Eve,
  5. a.m. to 11 p.m. ) On Sundays, other than Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve,
  6. noon to 10.30 p.m. ) On Good Friday, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m. ) On New Year’s Eve, except on a Sunday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. ) On New Year’s Eve on a Sunday, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m. ) On Christmas day, as provided by the rules of the club and notified in writing by the chairman or secretary of the club to the chief executive of the justices for the petty sessions area in which the premises are. The said hours shall: i) not exceed six and a half hours; ii) not begin earlier than 12 noon; iii) not end later than 10.30 p.m. iv) provide for a break of at least 2 hours, including 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.; v) not extend for more than three and a half hours after 5 p.m. g) On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December). NB: A person shall be treated as residing in any premises, notwithstanding that he occupies sleeping accommodation in a separate building, if he is provided with that accommodation in the course of a business of providing board and lodging for reward at those premises and the building is habitually used for the purpose by way of annexe or overflow in connection with those premises and is occupied and managed with those premises.
  7. The above restrictions do not prohibit: ) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises; ) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel; ) during the first thirty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied as ancillary to the meals; ) the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.   8. The Licensee will provide and maintain a burglar alarm in good working order.
  9. The Licensee will ensure that cash is not kept on the premises. Public Safety

The Licensee will ensure that the following systems are maintained and inspected by a suitably qualified professional person in accordance with the appropriate British Standard an at intervals recommended in national guidance, and will keep the records of such inspections available for inspection by authorised officers on request:  Emergency lighting systems  Fire extinguishers
  11. The Licensee will ensure that all fire exits are highlighted Prevention of Public Nuisance
  12. The Licensee will ensure that adequate waste bins are provided, and emptied on a regular basis.
  13. The Licensee will ensure that adequate steps are in place (e.g. signage and/or sufficient staff on site) to ensure that customers leave the premises quietly. Protection of children from harm
  14. All members of staff at the premises will seek ‘credible’ photographic proof of age evidence from any person who appears to be under the age of 18 and who is seeking to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.

Licensed hours are the most a premises may open or trade under its licence, not its actual opening times.
