Licence conditions (16)
  1. The premises will take part in a local pub watch scheme.
  2. Notices detailing the scheme shall be in place at the point of sale.
  3. A CCTV system shall be installed and maintained at the premises.
  4. All exit routes shall be clearly marked as such and any internal non-exit routes marked as private or no entry.
  5. The Designated Premises Supervisor will, when required, risk assess the need for SIA registered door supervisors and ensure that the requirements of the risk assessment are met.
  6. The licence holder or his representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises (including the outside smoking area) when the premises is being used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause disturbance to local residents.
  7. The placing of bottles into receptacles outside the premises is not permitted to take place between the hours of 20:00 and 08:00 to minimise disturbance to nearby properties.
  8. Notices shall be displayed on all exits reminding patrons to leave quietly and in an orderly manner when leaving the premises and to keep noise to a minimum.
  9. A clear challenge 25 policy which in line with the application will train staff every 6 months, staff will read and sign the document to show they have been trained.
  10. CCTV should conform to the suggested system listed on Cumbria Constabulary website and kept for 31 days, made available on request by a responsible authority. The requirement to make available means there should always be a member of staff trained to use the system on duty and/or contactable at the time of the request.
  11. The employment of SIA will be considered during local events and at the discretion of the DPS. It will be for the DPS to provide a written record of their decision making.
  12. Security will be employed if requested by a responsible authority during hours to be negotiated depending on the risk identified by the responsible authorities.
  13. Live music and events held within the function room will be pre-arranged with patrons. The risk assessment to use security during these times will be at the DPS discretion.
  14. There shall be maintained on the premises at all times an adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials for the use of customers.
  15. The electrical installation shall be inspected and tested at intervals specified by a competent person. A satisfactory and valid inspection report shall be available on site for inspection by an officer of the authority.
  16. Each socket outlet circuit or individual socket outlets used for regulated entertainment shall be protected by an integral residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA (0.03 amps). Every such circuit and residual current device shall be inspected and tested at intervals specified by a competent person. A satisfactory and valid inspection report shall be available on site for inspection by an authorised officer of the authority.
