Licence conditions (26)
- CCTV shall be fitted at the premises in accordance with advice from the Local Police Crime Reduction Officer. It shall be capable of continuous recording and the recordings made available to the Police and Local Authority Licensing Officers at any reasonable time.
- Suitable and sufficient risk and fire risk assessments shall be carried out. Written risk assessments shall be retained and available for inspection by the local Fire Authority, Licensing Authority or other relevant person.
- All staff involved in the sale of alcohol to be trained in the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 and the training shall be ongoing and recorded. Records of training shall be made available to the Police and local authority Licensing Officer on request.
- All staff shall receive training on management and supervision of outside areas.
- At least one member of staff employed at the premises in addition to the DPS, shall be a Personal Licence Holder.
- A litter bin shall be provided during opening hours outside premises, and be removed from outside the premises at closing time.
- The DPS shall be vigilant and take all reasonable steps to guard against congregation of youths outside the premises.
- No alcohol shall be sold to anyone who is or who appears to be intoxicated.
- "Challenge 25" Policy shall be implemented. Only ID acceptable will be passport or photo driving licence.
- Sufficient signage shall be displayed in the shop and visible outside about the "Challenge 25" policy.
- A refusals book shall be kept and made available for inspection to the Police Officer, Local Authority Officer or Trading Standards Officer at any reasonable time. To include the following details:-
- Time of refusal
- Date of refusal
- Item refused
- Name or description of person refused sale
- Reason for refusal
- Name of staff member making refusal
- The premises licence holder, manager, DPS or other responsible person will liaise with police and co operate in schemes to reduce alcohol related violence or crime.
- The premises shall be shut promptly at all times that are directed in the Premises Licence. Any licensable activities shall also cease at the stated hours.
- Ventilation and extraction systems shall be directed in a manner that will not cause nuisance, through noise or odour, to any persons living or working nearby.
- All outside areas are to be cleared of waste or litter regularly and it shall be disposed of in suitable waste containers.
- The DPS for the premises shall be a member of staff and live locally or within a reasonable distance from the premises
- INFORMATIVES:-
- Condition 7 requires a DPS and one other member of staff employed at the premises to be personal licence holders. These both need to be in regular attendance at the premises.
- ii. Training records of initial and ongoing training on licensing matters need to be kept clearly and dated.
- iii. The refusal book entries need to include time of refusal as well as date.
