Licence conditions (25)
- Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
- General The Mission to Music event is designed to be family-friendly, with a dedicated Family Zone offering supervised activities.
- The premises licence holder shall ensure all bar staff will be trained in Challenge 25 protocols before event goes ahead each year. The prevention of crime and disorder
- The premises licence holder will ensure that professional SIA-licensed security personnel are employed to monitor the event, including all entry/exit points, the licensed area for alcohol, and the general event space. SIA-licensed security personnel will conduct bag checks at entry points to prevent prohibited items from entering the site.
- The premises licence holder shall ensure a team of trained event stewards and volunteers will be on hand throughout the day to assist with crowd management and general public engagement.
- The premises licence holder will ensure that there is clear signage in place throughout the site to direct attendees, mark restricted areas, and reinforce safety messaging.
- The premises licence holder shall ensure that the event will operate within agreed opening and closing times, with structured programming to reduce potential nuisance or disorder in the surrounding area.
- The premises licence holder shall ensure that alcohol will only be consumed within a clearly defined, controlled area inside the fenced event space.
- The premises licence holder will maintain regular liaison with local police and community support officers, inviting their presence and input on the day. Public safety
- The premises licence holder shall ensure that all staging, electrical, and infrastructure installations will be carried out by professional suppliers adhering to industry safety standards.
- The premises licence holder will ensure that the medical support will be provided through a dedicated first aid team on-site for the duration of the event.
- The premises licence holder will ensure that all site infrastructure will be fully risk-assessed, and emergency vehicle access routes will be always kept clear.
- The premises licence holder shall ensure a full event management plan will be in place, including risk assessments, emergency procedures, and clear responsibilities for all key staff.
- The premises licence holder will supply the Food and Safety Team at East Suffolk Council with an Event Management Plan applicable to the event at least 28 days before event.
- The premises licence holder shall ensure any changes to the event management plan that are made within 28 days of the event must be brought to the attention of the Food and Safety Team at East Suffolk Council.
- The premises licence holder will supply the Food and Safety Team with health and safety risks assessments applicable to the event at least 28 days before event.
- The premises licence holder will ensure that all food outlets in attendance at the event are registered with a local authority. The prevention of public nuisance
- The premises licence holder shall ensure clear communication with local residents will take place in the lead-up to the event each year, outlining timings, contact details, and reassurances regarding noise and crowd management.
- The premises licence holder will ensure that public announcements and signage will be used to encourage respectful behaviour when entering and leaving the site.
- The premises licence holder will ensure that the noise levels will be monitored and kept within reasonable limits, with a clear running order and bar sales will cease at 10:00pm and the event will finish at 11:00pm.
- The premises licence holder will ensure that waste will be managed through a structured litter and waste removal plan, with bins placed throughout the site and post-event clean-up arranged. The protection of child from harm
- The premises licence holder will ensure a Challenge 25 policy will be implemented requiring all customers who appear to be under the age of 25 to produce photographic identification in the form of a passport, driving licence or proof of age scheme (PASS) approved identification, before alcohol can be supplied or sold to them.
- All staff will be instructed, through training, that alcohol cannot be supplied or sold unless valid identification is produced. The premises licence holder shall ensure that notices are prominently displayed in the premises to advise patrons and staff that a ‘Challenge 25’ scheme operates in the premises.
- The premises licence holder shall ensure that security and stewards will be briefed to remain vigilant and report any safeguarding concerns immediately.
- The premises licence holder shall ensure a lost child protocol will be in place, including a designated welfare tent where families can seek assistance.
