Licence conditions (20)
  1. It is our policy to safeguard the wellbeing off all our customers by following official guidelines in a sensitive but firm manner on such occasions that we have any concerns regarding inappropriate behaviour.
  2. A CCTV system shall be installed which is of a standard acceptable to the Police and local authorities, it should provide good quality evidential recordings to a format (on hard drive) which can be viewed on Police and local authority equipment without enhancement.
  3. This is to be maintained in good and working order and kept for 31 days.
  4. This must be made available to Police on demand by way of copying to CD at the venue if required; the CCTV shall cover the entry and exit points of the building and various areas of the premises, to identify any offender also to cover the outside area including the car park area belonging to the premises.
  5. All incidents that relate to violence, abusive or criminal activities to be reported to the Police.
  6. A personal licence holder shall be on the premises at all times the premises is open to the public, if there is not than all alcohol sales will stop.
  7. No staff under the age of 18 are to work behind the bar or sell alcohol.
  8. The DPS is to have day to day supervision when the premises are open, and is to be readily available to deal with any incident should he be required so stipulated by the Licensing Act.
  9. A refusals book to be kept and monitored, this is to be checked monthly by the DPS and signed.
  10. All staff to be fully trained in all aspects relevant to their role of licensing laws to understand what is required of them.
  11. Adopt the 'Challenge 21' policy, where anybody who looks under 21 and attempts to buy alcohol, will be asked to produce acceptable photo ID proving that they are over 18 - passport driving licence and PASS accredited photo ID only.
  12. All staff, including the DPS, selling alcohol to have a good conversational grasp of the English language.
  13. To be able to effectively read English to implement the challenge 21 policy and understand what it means.
  14. Refresher training to be taken every six months by all staff and training books signed to state that they have understood the obligations of training.
  15. CCTV to be installed for public safety.
  16. Good internal and external lighting.
  17. Deal sensitively with customers who behave inappropriately (i.e. refuse to serve alcohol who is already inebriated).
  18. Dispersal policies.
  19. Introduce a Challenge 21 policy.
  20. Control over admission of children where there is inappropriate behaviour.
