  1. The Licence Holder shall ensure that the licensing objectives are met by monitoring, reviewing and updating policies and procedures. Prevention of crime and disorder
  2. The Licence Holder will maintain a recordable CCTV system, capable of providing pictures of evidential quality. Cameras shall (were permitted) encompass all ingress and egress from the premises including fire exits, outside areas (where possible) and all working areas where the sale/supply of alcohol occurs. In the event of an incident being reported the footage will be downloaded, time and date marked, and retained for no less than 20 days. The footage will be made available to the Police/Local Authority within 36 hours of their request.
  3. Records of all incidents (injury/refusals/age challenge) shall be kept and maintained on the premises. Records shall be time and date marked and produced to the Police/Licensing Officers on demand. A record of all injury/accidents on the premises shall also be maintained off-site at Wherstead Park.   4. The store manager shall retain responsibility for the premises whilst it is open, with a wider Management Team to support and deputise in their absence. Bespoke policies, processes, procedures and risk assessments have been developed and shall be enforced to ensure and maintain the health, safety, welfare and security of employees and the public at the premises.   5. Whilst recognising that it cannot be responsible for the conduct of third parties, the Licence Holder will take action to alleviate public nuisance on and in the immediate vicinity of its premises by means of properly considered hours of operation during which alcohol and other age-related products will be sold to the public.   6. The Licence Holder will enforce the Society’s Challenge 25 policy which requires its employees to actively challenge any individual who wishes to purchase alcohol or any other age-related product but appears to be under 25 years of age, to prove their age by means of photographic identification. The Society actively supports the use of photo identity cards and will use the Citizen Card where local authority schemes are not available or suitable.
  7. All staff will be trained on the Society’s Challenge 25 policy (including the completion of a questionnaire) prior to being permitted to serve alcohol. Training records shall be maintained at the Society’s head office and will be available on request by the Police and Local Authority Licensing Officers. Staff members shall receive regular re-fresher training to ensure that they are up to date with the latest legislation/policies.
