Licence conditions (26)
  1. Notices asking patrons to leave quietly shall be displayed.
  2. Signage will be on display to advise customers that no noise disturbance will be allowed.
  3. No person under the age of eighteen will be allowed on the premises unless accompanied by an adult.
  4. A comprehensive CCTV system is installed, operated and maintained to Surrey Police standards. Records of data captured will be held for a minimum of 31 days and will be made available for inspection by the police and authorised officers of the Licensing Authority at all reasonable times.
  5. A CCTV system with recording and monitoring facilities will be installed and maintained in good working order and will be operational at all times. The CCTV recording system will be checked before the commencement of any licensable activities and a written log to this effect maintained.6. The system will cover all of the licensed area (excluding lavatories) internal and external used by customers. CCTV will also cover the front of the premises and the pavement immediately outside. The system will incorporate a method of recording the date and time of the recording.
  6. Images shall be of evidential quality and will be retained for 31 days, being made available to officers of the Licensing Authority and Surrey police within 48 hours of such a request.
  7. A sufficiently competent person should be authorised by the premises licence holder to ensure that at all times the premises is open to the public, a member of staff is available to show the Police, when formally requested to do so, any image footage from the CCTV system with a minimum of delay.
  8. Any door supervisor employed by the company will be licensed under the Private Security Industry Act 2001.
  9. Licensed door staff will be deployed from 20:00 to close on Friday and Saturday nights and on Thursdays a decision will be made in advance whether or not to deploy door staff, decisions will be based on risk assessments by the management.
  10. Drug related activities will not be tolerated, signage will be on display to advise patrons of the consequences of such behaviour.
  11. Drinks promotions will not be permitted allowing unlimited supply of alcohol for a set price.
  12. A representative of the premises licence holder will actively participate in a Pub Watch scheme where such a scheme exists.
  13. All staff will be trained in the fundamentals of the Licensing Act 2003. Records of such training will be made available to responsible authorities upon request.
  14. No person under the age of 18 is permitted to be in the premises after 19:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
  15. Challenge 21 is in operation at the premises, to eliminate the possibility of alcohol being sold to a person who is under 18. Signage is on display and a refusals register will be kept on the premises for inspection by Responsible Authorities. All staff are trained in these requirements.
  16. Staff training shall be recorded and updated every 6 months. Training shall cover: • the licensing objectives. • The requirements for ID as part of age verification. • Dealing with an intoxicated person. • Dealing with disorderly incidents /disorderly persons. • Dealing with drug related activity on a licenced premise. • Recording of any refusal to sell alcohol. • Recording of incidents. • Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults. • Reporting of incidents to police and information to be shared with police to promote the licensing objectives. • All training records will be available to an authorised officer on request.
  17. An incident log shall be maintained on the premises, which documents the date and time of any incidents , including drug related incidents , which could undermine the licensing objectives. This shall be completed within 24 hours of the incident, be available upon request of a police officer or an authorised officer and will record the following: a) All crimes reported at the venue b) All ejections of patrons c) Any complaints received concerning crime and disorder d) All drugs seized or found e) Any incidents of disorder f) Any faults in the CCTV system, including action taken to remedy g) Persons banned from the premises
  18. There shall be a record of any refused sale of alcohol. The refusal register shall be inspected on a regular basis (at least weekly) by the DPS and endorsed by the DPS.
  19. A personal licence holder shall be on the premises from 20:00hrs , when the premises is open on Fridays, Saturdays, New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve.
  20. The Premises Licence Holder shall have a written drugs policy for the venue, to promote the prevention of drugs entering and being used on the premises. The policy to be reviewed and agreed with the SIA company providing the door security.
  21. The toilets shall be checked hourly after 19:00hrs on Fridays, Saturdays, New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve. A record of these checks to be retained by the venue for a period of three months and available for inspection by the police or authorised person.
  22. The premises will have a dispersal policy on Fridays, Saturdays, New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve, to ensure patrons are dispersed safely and orderly from inside the premises and from immediately outside the front of the venue. The policy to be reviewed and agreed with the SIA company providing the door security.
  23. No patrons under the age of 21 shall be admitted onto the licenced premises after 20:00hrs on New Years Eve, Christmas Eve and when regulated entertainment or live singers take place.
  24. The minimum number of SIA employed shall be 2 SIA door supervisors on Fridays and Saturdays, and a minimum of 3 SIA door supervisors on New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve. The Premises Licence Holder shall risk assess the requirement for SIA door supervisors on other days of the week or events. When there is live or recorded music on the premises after 17.00
  25. The premises shall have a written search policy, which shall require the consent of a patron to a voluntary search as a condition of entry after 20:00hrs on New Years Eve and Christmas Eve or when Regulated entertainment or live singers take place.). The policy to be reviewed and agreed with SIA company providing the door security, who will exercise their discretion. The policy shall require one in ten of persons entering during these hours being subject to a voluntary search, as a condition of entry. The SIA will maintain records on the number of persons searched during an evening and the number who refused to be searched by the SIA shall be available at the venue by a police officer or authorised officer
  26. There shall be no admittance or re-admittance after 00:00 Hours on News Years Eve and Christmas Eve or when Regulated entertainment or live singers take place
