• We will ensure we put effective measures in place to make it more difficult for crime to be committed by having all management committee on duty when events take place • We have security lighting and CCTV on and around the premises and all external doors are composite and around the premises and all external doors are composite and have secure locks the premises is protected by an intruder alarm when locked • The premises benefits from additional street lighting being situated immediately next to the A596 and sits in an elevated position • There will be limited amounts of alcohol kept on site and cash will also be removed
• We have recently updated our fire risk assessment and have 4 marked fire exits onto the car park • Crowed numbers will be limited • Sales of alcohol will be monitored and intoxicated individuals will be refused service • We have up to date medical supplies and first AIDERS • People can leave the premises safely onto a well-lit area
• To minimise noise, crowed numbers will be monitored and all doors and windows will be closed during live music. Drinks will not be permitted outdoors • Live music will finish at 11pm • Litter bins will be provided in and outdoors • Signage will be used to encourage quieter exiting
• In line with our safeguarding policy. We will risk assess accompanied children being at events where alcohol is being served • Unaccompanied children under 16 will not be allowed on the premises during sales of alcohol. • We will not accept children running in and out of the premises and will make an announcement and display signage to that effect • Alcohol will not be served to anyone under the age of 18 • Signage will assist reinforcement that parents/ Carers are responsible for any accompanied children
• The Challenge 25 scheme must be operated to ensure that any person who appears to be under the age of 25 shall provide documented proof that he/she is over 18 years of age. Proof of age shall only comprise a passport, photo card driving licence, an EU/EEA national ID card or similar document, an HM Forces warrant card, a card bearing the PASS hologram, or any electronic or biometric age verification technology approved by the licensing authority. • The premises shall display prominent signage indicating at any point of sale and at the entrance to the premises that the Challenge 25 scheme is in operation. All staff authorised to sell alcohol shall be trained in: • Relevant age restrictions in respect of products • Preventing underage sales • Preventing proxy sales • Enter sales correctly on the tills so the prompts show as appropriate ( if relevant) • Training must include evidence that the trainee has gained knowledge and understanding of the training, which may consist of a test or quiz, completed by the trainee. Documented records of training completed shall be kept for each member of staff. Training shall be regularly refreshed and at no greater than 12 monthly intervals. Training records shall be made available for inspection upon request by a police officer or an authorised officer
