Licence conditions (10)
  1. At all times when the premises operate under the terms of the premises licence the CCTV cameras shown on the plan appended at Annex 4 of the licence shall: a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order; b. make and retain clear images that include points of sale of alcohol; c. the facial images of the purchasers of alcohol, all alcohol displays; d. entrances and exits and the outside of the premises; and e. show an accurate date of when the images were made.
  2. All CCTV images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days and shall be made available for viewing by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person upon request. If requested, copies of CCTV images shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
  3. No alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason.
  4. The premises shall operate in accordance with "Challenge 25" and all customers attempting to purchase alcohol who appear to be under the age of 25 shall be required to produce a valid proof of age. Notices to this effect shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises.
  5. The only proof of age accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a proof of age card bearing the: a. "PASS" hologram logo; b. a passport; c. a photo UK driving licence; or d. military ID card.
  6. A refusals book, or similar record, shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded forthwith the date, time and circumstances under which any attempted purchase by a young customer has been refused. This book, or other form of record, must be made available for inspection by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person.
  7. The following alcoholic beverages shall be kept behind a staffed counter and shall not be displayed for self service : a. Mixed alcoholic beverages under 10% a.b.v b. Beers, lagers or ciders over 5.5% a.b.v c. Alcoholic beverages over 20% a.b.v presented in containers holding a lesser quantity than 700ml.
  8. All alcohol, other than that kept behind a staffed counter, shall be kept in locked cabinets at times that the premises are trading but not authorised to retail alcohol.
  9. No trade deliveries or rubbish collections will be made or accepted except during the period 09:00 hours and 18:00 hours.
  10. The Designated Premises Supervisor will monitor the exterior of the premises to ensure that litter is kept to a minimum. (Conditions 1 to 10 above were imposed by the the Licensing Sub Committee on 10 March 2010)
