Licence conditions (27)
  1. Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the oeprating schedule
  2. Conditions carried over from: Licensing Act 1964 (Justices 'on' Licence with Supper Hours Certificate):
  3. 1. The Premises must be structurally adapted and bona fide used for the purpose of habitually providing, for the accommodation of persons frequenting the premises, substantial refreshment, to which the sale and supply of intoxicating liquor is ancillary. This includes the patio area.
  4. General:
  5. 1. A full time manager shall oversee operations as well as owner.
  6. The Prevention of Crime and Disorder:
  7. 1. An incident log ('the Log') will be maintained and used at the premises, recording all incidents of crime and disorder or public nuisance witnessed at the premises. The Log will include the date, time and name of member of staff making the record, along with details of the incident and any action taken. The Log will be made available to police officer on request.
  8. 2. A refusal log will be kept at the premises and be made available to the responsible authorities upon request.
  9. 3. A complaints log ('the log') will be maintained and used at the premises for any complaints received in relation to noise nuisance caused by the premises. The Log will include details of the time, date and person making the entry, along with details of the complaint and any action taken. The log will be made available to police officers on request.
  10. Public Safety:
  11. 1. The fire risk assessment will determine the maximum occupancy limits for the premises.
  12. The Prevention of Public Nuisance
  13. 1. Notices shall be displayed by exit doors and the garden door requesting customers to respect needs of local residents and to leave the premises quietly
  14. The Protection of Children from Harm:
  15. 1. A challenge 21 policy will be employed whereby a person who appears to be under 21 years of age and is attempting to purchase alcohol, will be asked to provide identification. The only type of identification that will be accepted will be a passport, photo driving licence, military identification, EU identity card or PASS approved identification. Staff will be trained in this policy and records of that training will be kept.
  16. 2. Access of children under the age of 16 shall not be permitted to the premises unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
  17. Annex 3 - Conditions attached after a hearing by the licensing authority
  18. The Prevention of Public Nuisance:
  19. 1. All doors and windows to be closed during live music events except for ingress and egress.
  20. 2. All doors and windows to be closed by 23.30 hours on Sunday to Thursday and 00.00 hours on Friday and Saturday except for ingress and egress.
  21. 3. Staff to remind customers it is a residential area and to leave quietly.
  22. 4. Means of communication with the Licensee to be made available.
  23. 5. The garden area to be closed by 23.30 hours on Sunday to Thursday and 00.00 hours on Friday and Saturday
  24. 6. No music to be played in or transmitted to the outside area.
  25. 7. A sign is to be fitted by the front door asking customers to leave quietly and respect neighbours as they walk up the road.
  26. 8. CCTV with professional security recording software is to be installed.
  27. 9. Signage to and in garden asking customers to respect neighbours.
