Licence conditions (22)
  1. No child shall be employed:
  2. So long as he is under the age of fourteen years;
  3. To do any work other than light work;
  4. Before the close of school hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
  5. Before seven o'clock in the morning or after seven o'clock in the evening on any day;
  6. For more than two hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
  7. For more than two hours on any Sunday;
  8. Five hours in any day on which he is not required to attend school, and which is not a Sunday;
  9. For more than thirty-five hours or, if he is under the age of fifteen years, for more than twenty-five hours in any week in which he is not required to attend school;
  10. For more than four hours in any day without a rest break of one hour; or
  11. At any time in a year unless at that time he has had, or could still have, during a period in the year in which he is not required to attend school, at least two consecutive weeks without employment.
  12. The premises shall operate in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme. Whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears under 25 years of age shall be required to provide proof of age using an acceptable form of ID.
  13. Notices advertising that the premises operate a "Challenge 25" scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises.
  14. The only acceptable forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a: a. passport; b. UK photo driving licence; or c. other ID with the prior written approval of the Licensing Authority.
  15. A book, or other form of record, shall be kept in which the date, time and circumstances under which any challenge made in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme shall be recorded. The "challenge book", or other form of record, shall be made available for inspection by any police, community support or authorised Council officers upon demand.
  16. All staff shall receive regular training at least twice a year on the prevention of underage sales and the use of the CCTV system. Such training shall be recorded and these records shall, on request, be made available to the Police or Bexley Council on demand.
  17. At all times when the premises operate in accordance with this licence the CCTV system serving the both the interior and exterior of the premises shall: a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; b. show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made and all images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days; c. The original, or a copy of the CCTV recording, shall be provided upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person; and. d. Copies of CCTV recordings shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software. e. The original or a copy, of the CCTV images shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software. f. No alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason.
  18. On Fridays and Saturdays from 18.00 hours until the premises close there shall be a minimum of two staff, one of whom must be a personal licence holder.
  19. Adequate lighting, at a level to enable clear CCTV recordings to be made, shall be maintained to the exterior of the premises.
  20. Notices shall be displayed inside and outside of the premises warning adults that it an offence to buy alcohol for anyone under the age of 18.
  21. The premises shall maintain a clear window policy at all times, above 1 metre from the level of the pavement. The exception to this shall be the display of those notices required by the law, including those set out as conditions of this licence.
