  1. The premises is a secure storage container within a gated industrial storage facility and will be used for the storage of alcohol for internet sales via our own website, Amazon and telephone.
  2. The storage facility is covered by security cameras, has a security guard and a coded access gate.
  3. The premises shall not be open to the public and no member of the public shall be permitted to attend the premises at any time for the purchase of alcohol
  4. There will be no customers permitted to attend the premises to collect any alcohol they may have purchased or to sample any alcohol prior to purchase.
  5. All sales shall be made remotely via the internet or via telephone.
  6. The premises licence holder shall maintain an accurate and up to date record of all sales of alcohol. This information shall be made available to Police and authorised officers when requested.
  7. No company signs or any form of advertising indicating that alcohol is stored at the premises shall be displayed on or around the premises.
  8. Alcohol shall not be on view from the exterior of the premises.
  9. Children will not be permitted to attend the premises.
  10. Where sales are made and fulfilled by Amazon, their age restriction policy will be adhered to as per Amazon Website.
  11. Where alcohol is offered for sale and delivery on the company's website the following terms shall apply: a) Orders are only acceptable from customers over the age of 18 b) A "Challenge 25" scheme is operated and customers who appear to be under the age of 25 will be required to produce a valid form of identification before the consignment of alcohol is delivered to them. c) The only acceptable forms of ID are: i. proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; ii. passport; or iii. UK photo driving licence. iv. A Military ID Card d). Alcohol will not be delivered to any person who is challenged and fails to provide an acceptable form of ID
  12. The company website through which alcohol is sold will have measures in place to prevent underage sales. This includes customers having to select a declaration that they and the recipient are over 18 before entering the website and purchasing online.
  13. All forms of advertising and promotional literature detailing online sales (including internet sites, social media and physical flyers/leaflets) will clearly and predominantly state that the company operates a Challenge 25 policy and the forms of approved ID that will be accepted.
  14. Customers will be made aware that age verification checks e.g. Challenge 25 will take place before alcohol is handed to the recipient and that failure to show the required form of ID will result in non-delivery of the alcohol.
  15. Premises to use a refusals book, which is to record any attempted order by persons suspected to be under 18 or fail to show suitable ID and to record evidence of those suspected to be underage but do prove that they are over 18.
  16. All deliveries will be made by a reputable courier who has a relevant age verification process or the premises Licence holder, or a direct employee of the Premises Licence holder.
  17. Alcohol shall not be delivered to a person in a public place (e.g. car park, street corner, bus stop etc.)
  18. Where deliveries are made by the Premises Licence holder, or a direct employee of the Premises Licence holder, the person making the delivery shall carry a book, or other form of record, in which they shall record the date, time and circumstances under which any challenge is made in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme.
  19. This record, a version of which must be kept in English, shall be made available for inspection by any police, community support or authorised Council officer upon demand.
  20. The Designated Premises Supervisor shall frequently check the record to ensure all staff are using it and shall sign and date it immediately after the latest entry as a record of doing so.
  21. All staff employed in the sale of alcohol shall be trained in respect of the law relating to the sale of alcohol, the company's proof of age policy and the procedure on handling and recording refusals.
  22. Training will be recorded and details made available upon request by the Police, Trading Standards Officers and Licensing Officers.
  23. Training shall be reviewed and updated on an annual basis.
