Licence conditions (12)
  1. Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
  2. The premises licence holder will monitor, review and update their policies and procedures to ensure that the licensing objectives are met. The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
  3. The premises licence holder shall install and maintain a recordable CCTV system. Cameras shall (where permitted) encompass all customer entrances and exits and where the sale of alcohol occurs. The CCTV system within the premises shall be remotely monitored 24 hours a day by East of England Coop’s Alarm Receiving Centre. The footage shall be made available to the Police/Local Authority within 2 working days of their request.
  4. It should be noted that any retention, use or disclosure of personal information captured on CCTV must be carried out in line with data protection principles.
  5. Suitable signage shall be displayed and maintained on the licensed premises advising customers that CCTV is in operation. Public Safety
  6. The Branch Manager will retain responsibility for the premises whilst it is open to the public, with a wider Management Team to support and deputise in their absence.
  7. The Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) shall ensure all policies and procedures are complied with to ensure and maintain the health, safety, welfare and security of employees and the public whilst the premises is open for licensable activities.
  8. A process is in place for reporting all incidents and accidents on the licensed premises. Records shall be made available to the Police and an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority on demand. The Prevention of Public Nuisance
  9. The East of England Coop will, when required, work with the relevant authorities to alleviate public nuisance on and in the immediate vicinity of its premises. The Protection of Children From Harm
  10. The East of England Coop will regularly update and refresh its employees on the latest legislation and/or policies to prevent the sale of alcohol to those under the age of 18 or those who are intoxicated.
  11. A record of the training as well as a refusals register shall be maintained and made available to the Police and an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority on request.
  12. The East of England Coop has a ‘Challenge 25’ proof of age scheme in place. A till prompt system will be in place to automatically prompt the till operator to verify the age of the customer whenever alcohol is sold. When verifying ages, The East of England Coop will maintain a list of accepted forms of identification which includes passports and PASS accredited photocards
