CCTV shall be installed showing correct date and time information. The CCTV will cover the entrance door. The CCTV shall provide images of good quality in all lighting conditions of persons entering the venue. The committee must ensure the CCTV is in good order and regularly maintained and that staff are able to make copies available at the request of the Police or other authorised licensing authority on request. CCTV footage must be retained for a minimum of 31 days.
The committee shall provide staff training. Training delivered to staff shall be recorded. Training shall cover:-
ii. The requirements for ID as part of age verification. iii. Dealing with an intoxicated person, or a drug related incident. iv. Dealing with disorderly incidents/disorderly persons v. Recording of any refusal to supply alcohol. vi. Recording of incidents vii. Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults viii. Reporting of incidents to police and information to be shared with police to promote
All training records will be available to an authorised officer on request.
All activities at the club are subject to codes of conduct and monitored by our committee members. Use of the bar will be monitored by committee members.
All events are equally monitored. The committee shall risk assess any planned events involving licensed activity and maintain a record of the risk assessment and any actions taken, for 12 months. The risk assessment shall be made available to Surrey Police or an authorised officer on request.
If there is crime or disorder we will deal with it and implement additional rules and/or procedures to prevent it occurring again.
An incident log shall be maintained on the premises documenting the date and time of any incidents involving the premises which could undermine the four licensing objectives. This shall be completed within 24 hours of the incident, be available upon request of a police officer or an authorised officer and will record the following:- i. All crimes reported at the venue. ii. Any incidents of disorder iii. Persons banned from the premises.
There shall be a record of any refused supply of alcohol. The refusal register shall be inspected on a regular basis, (at least monthly by a committee member).
Our site is regularly inspected by committee members to ensure the safety of our members.
The committee shall adopt a 'Challenge 25' policy on the premises, with signage clearly displayed to the members and guests.
Our sports clubs are all affiliates of national organizations which have detailed rules and guidance for safeguarding, code of conduct, safety etc. All our sports clubs have safeguarding rules and welfare officers which ensure the safety of our junior members and guests. All clubs with Junior members have a dedicated welfare officer.
