Licence conditions (13)
  1. A minimum of 2 fully trained permanent staff will always be on hand to regulate and oversee all events.
  2. All licensable activities at the venue will be pre-booked, private and public events, with controlled numbers and adequate temporary and permanent staffing at all times.
  3. All staff will be fully briefed before each event and client terms and concditions will clearly state the Hirers responsibility to ensure all guests adhere to our rules of appropriate behaviour.
  4. Preparations prior to each event will ensure that all risks are minimised and liaison with local authorities will take place for any event where more that 350 people are expected to attend.
  5. Low noise fireworks are provided by a professional company who we have worked with for a number of years. Designed to offer visual effects without the loud bangs making them ideal for pets, children and noise-sensitive events. Also suitable for residential areas, helping to prevent disturbance to neighbours, pets and wildlife.
  6. Under the legal limit noise level staying well below the threshold, at 70-90 decibels maximum
  7. No live or recorded music to be allowed in the Orangery after 20:00 hours every day.
  8. No more than ten events to be held outdoors after 20:00 hours in any given year.
  9. Local residents to be supplied with a contact telephone number for lodging complaints.
  10. Applicant to arrange half-yearly meetings with local residents to consider concerns.
  11. Applicant to distribute quarterly to local residents a newsletter listing forthcoming events at the premises.
  12. No more than one event at any time to be held on the premises.
  13. No more than one event with fireworks to be held on the premises in any given year.
