Licence conditions (11)
  1. All doors and windows shall be kept shut from 22:00 hours on everyday of the week.
  2. A notice shall be exhibited at the exit of the premises requesting that patrons leave the premises quietly.
  3. Alcohol (both on and off sales) shall only be sold to persons consuming a substantial table meal or persons waiting to be seated prior to taking a substantial table meal.
  4. The Provision of late night refreshment shall be restricted to the provision of beverages only for the last 30 minutes.
  5. The premises shall operate in accordance with the "challenge 21" scheme. This scheme operates on the basis that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years and over, anyone who appears under 21 years of age will be asked for ID. Notices to this effect shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises.
  6. The only proof of age accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo, a photo card full driving licence or a passport.
  7. A refusals book shall be kept at the premises in which shall be recorded forthwith the time, date and circumstances under which any attempted purchase by a child or a customer unable to produce proof of age has been refused. This book shall be made available for inspection by a Police Officer, community support officer or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority.
  8. Staff shall receive regular training on the prevention of underage sales. Such training shall be recorded and these records shall, on request, be made available to a Police Officer, community support officer or an authorised officer the Licensing Authority.
  9. The external side garden shall not be used after 23:00 hours except to allow smoking only. This means after 23:00 hours no customer shall be permitted to enter the garden with food or drink.
  10. The authorised use of the outdoor seating provided at the front of the premises between May and September shall cease at 22:00 hours.
  11. No person under 18 years of age shall be permitted to consume alcohol on the premises (whilst the law allows for 16/17 year olds to have limited forms of alcohol with a table meal purchased by an adult, it is the policy that this shall not be permitted on these premises).
